I hope it's not the one Hollowhead takes home in the cab !

One of my mates growing up used to specialise in pulling munters, less effort as far as he was concerned, you’d lose him after about 20 mins in the Studios or Papillons on a Sat night only for him to reappear on the Sun lunchtime in the pub…

At least I guess he always had someone in the taxi, mine was always the taxi for one to Miss Millie’s on Broadwalk..

I don't know that Anis was the only player guilty of poor decisions in forward areas but the criticism of him is fair. Over the 90 minutes I would score him a 6.

Definitely not the only one. It's great he gets in those positions so often as he needs to for one to come off.

I remember Akinbiyi being someone who many said if he scored even a third of the decent chances he had would have scored 30-40 a season. Anis could be the same in terms of assists  😂

😂Studios, Paps or Mandrayke.

Guaranteed a pull.

My first half thoughts included this:

Thought we played with composure, intensity, professionalism, and desire. throughout that 45 minutes.

The frustrating ‘nearly’ bit is when we get around or into their box it’s nearly, nearly, nearly, every  time as the final ball has been lame either to a defender or their keeper, that is the huge area for improvement. Memheti, Bell, Roberts, have all been guilty of delivering a very weak final ball, following very enterprising and I catching approach play.

The top teams have that ruthless, clinical edge in the final third that we are blatantly lacking at the moment.

Second half we played just as well, however, we very much did deliver quality balls in the final third (even if the first goal came from a pass from an off side position.)

Without wishing to over react that was one of the most complete team performances from us in a league game (against a very good opponent) in a very long time. Well done all the players and the staff.

We even scored following a throw in, when did that last happen!?

Only disappoint was not keeping a clean sheet.

So, we have shown in recent weeks what a solid / capable team we can be against two premier league teams and certainly did so again tonight against a team high on confidence and likely to be in the promotion hunt at the end of the season.

A very good performance and a well deserved three points.

Well played you Reds!

It wasn't offside, it came of their bloke, into the path of Mehmeti didn't it?

Surely at least a 7 for his assist?

Honestly if anything summed up Mehmeti, it was the assist. Got himself into a good area, decent bit of skill, miss places an easy pass, yet somehow works in his favour and gets the ball back, delivers a brilliant goal-ball after.

I have to agree Pete, so frustrating, as he has all the skills to be excellent. Maybe he should be more 'off the cuff'.

God he was awful ! I think that might have been his only goal for us (?)

In all seriousness, I hope you go up this season, as Leeds should be in the Prem, and we don’t want to play you next season !

We have the same issue with Wolves. No matter how good / bad we are, the game always ends in defeat.

We might HAVE to !:fingerscrossed:

There you go again.

Boasting about your fine dining at the prestigious Miss Millie’s.

It’s alright for some.

In a world of maybe, just maybe… availability of Dickie and Vyner (and Max to be fair) is what worries me most.

Aye. Dickie was shattered at the end.

We could really do with Naismith getting fit and staying in one piece for a bit, if only to give Dickie a well earned rest.

Vyner is just a supreme athlete.

Rob Dickie foot perfect.

Again.

What an absolute steal he is.

Agree, but also Tanner - who many saw as just a temporary infill - immense. Again. He’s making that position his own. Hats off to the guy.

Just wonderful 😊

Joe Williams MOTM. Some of his passing was superb.

Totally agree. His performances have been superb of late, passing has been top notch. Great corner for Dickies header aswell.
Has really found some top form under Manning.

Yes but Dickie is a sublime central defender. The best we have had since Webster.

The ball he swept out to Hayden Roberts on the run when we were breaking was particularly good as it was into space on the left for Roberts to run into. We have been crying out for passes like that!

Is the Play-off final on the Saturday or Monday this year?

Want to make sure I book it off

Well you never know, I think we may be on the cusp of finally having a team we can all believe in, I watched us tonight and you know what we are not as far off being competitive as some on here would have you believe, we beat West Ham, narrowly lost to Nottingham Forrest over two legs, beat Boro away and beat a team deservedly that had forgotten what it was like to lose, come on don't you think the same? I'm so proud of us tonight.
