Popular Post formerly known as ivan
That was bloody terrible. Literally the worse performance of the season. Unfortunately all it’s done is give Manning breathing space. Making that my last visit to the gate this season. Can no longer sit through it and cant celebrate even when they win. 37 1 1 1 1

The Nest Egg
Clearly a crap game today but Birmingham at home was the worst this season, 2-0 flattered us massively

Not exactly a 'hot take'. Those in charge won't be sacking him anytime soon as it would make them look foolish.

Whatever he’s building is built on sand foundations if he won’t even give a youngster a shot to sit on the bench. Can’t develop players or won’t develop players?

I can appreciate when opposition play well. Both were examples of being too good for us.
Winterstoke toad
Happy that city won and we got another three points on board but all we’ve done today is paper over the cracks . Our performance today was horrific and unless there’s a big change in structure at this club we might as well give up hope of ever having a decent season at this level .

Loco Rojo
That was awful to watch and the result has just polished a large steaming turd that needs dealing with! Very little passion, energy, pace and no urgency. If this is Mannings style then all it's doing is taking us backwards.

Which is the total opposite of what we were told he was here to do. I think that’s everyone’s issue. Either, he was the wrong man for the (top 6) squad, and shouldn’t have been hired in the first place as he wasn’t the right fit. So they hired the wrong bloke for the ‘new identity we have from first team down to u11s’. Or, they totally change the squad and ‘new identity we have from first team down to 11s’ for him because it doesn’t suit him, but they have more faith in the manager than the squad, so will let him have oversight on a total overhaul on it over the next probably 2 years. Whatever scenario they pick, they’ve got it wrong. 11

I'd agree if I saw evidence of him getting a tune out of more than one player in that squad today. The only one is Mehmeti for me - Conway, TGH, Pring, have regressed since he's come in. But that's merely my observation and therefore an opinion.
BrizzleRed
14 minutes ago, Tim Monaghan said: And so he should be. Huge summer incoming. Why, have you got reliable info that Lansdown is selling up? That’s the only thing that would get me excited about the summer, football wise. That was shocking again today, but the result was everything today, so we can breathe easier now. I certainly can’t look forward to watching that shit again next sesson though.

He's a crashing bore, his football is excruciatingly tedious, the atmosphere around the club is dead, and there's absolutely nothing for fans to be excited about. It’s going to take a hell of a lot of money to build a team capable of playing the way he wants. Can you see him getting that from Lansdown, because I certainly can’t.

One Team
As bad a win as you’ll ever see that. Clearly the win was everything but the game itself, especially first half, was appalling. Fortunately Swansea couldn’t get a shot of target else it would’ve been a very different story.
