glastored
It won’t be too long before we will be wondering what next year’s kit will look like. Personally, I don’t like this season’s shirt, not being a fan of stripes. I really liked the kit worn by City when we celebrated our win over Leeds back in 1974. I liked the simplicity of it, and especially liked the deep red colour of the shirt, with no frills. Hope City go back to the simple designs of yesteryear, or maybe I’m too nostalgic for the old days! What say you?

A bit like you, I think the less crayons we allow the shirt designer to have the better. Wouldn't mind seeing the Purple and Lime away strip return next season.
GrahamC
I say you’re right. Either some sort of version of the top flight one or the shirt that we wore when we beat Leeds in the FA cup would be ideal. That having been said, I quite like our current one, far better than that Arsenal/ Rotherham abomination that preceded it. 5

BCFCGav
I don’t mind the slightly bolder modern designs. Something punchy (and red, obv) for the homer and maybe a return to purple and lime for the away. White third.
Supersonic Robin
I quite like the pinstripes. Given how many teams play in red shirts (or red shirts with thick white stripes), it's nice to have something that differentiates us a little bit. It feels like quite a Bristol City thing for me. Same goes for the purple and lime away kit. Edited April 3 by Supersonic Robin

It's a shit kit, that reflects who designed it

alexukhc
Hirerite white stripe through the middle next season I reckon or is it seen as a hoop? Edited April 3 by alexukhc

Doncaster play in red and white hoops, but in fairness not many others do in the UK. That's not really the point though, the point is that the pinstripes are relatively unique to us. 1960maaan
I love that 76 shirt , and at some stage I would love to see it . But for the love of God can we step away from retro ! Sorry , I'm up to the back teeth with "harking back" or celebrating" . How about a modern style design for a change . I love the black one this year, but that has the City logo from 74 ish. I don't mind the pale yellow ( logo is still shite ) , but that is a version of an old shirt just like the Red one is. Then there is the Leeds "qualifying for a game in the next round" shirt . Last years Arsenal is looking back to 54/55 Isn't it time to do "new" ? 34 minutes ago, Bris Red said: Have we got O'neills for another season i wonder? In short , yes. Plus from the OS; The Irish sporting goods manufacturer signed a multi-year deal with City and will supply the Robins’ playing, training and travel wear ranges moving forward. The one thing I wonder is, do they have the same level of design ability as someone like Hummel or Castore , if not then that leaves the door open for Jon , which is worrying.
