Only took 6 weeks to get permission….. that must be what, 8 months quicker than anything else will get permission on average?

Yet I’m sure they’ll still play the victim, City get everything from the council, bla bla bla

Having been a member of the Architectural profession throughout my working life and having to wait for planning permission for NHS and School projects, I find this absolutely appalling.

    Shame on them!!!

There’s obviously way more to NP leaving than just results than we will ever know but I think it’s clear that the board, with what’s been put in since last Jan didn’t see the upturn they were expecting. He’s done great things but bottom line the results weren’t there.

The team looked a bit lost because they were playing a brand new system they’d never played before and nothing but time with them will speed that up.

Tough run into Christmas and I think we can’t expect too much before then.

Wonderful. Joined ONE hour ago and this is your FIRST post?

    If I didn't know better......

Oh for goodness sake in reference to Tinnion, "sacked in League 1 as manager for nearly getting us relegated" - it was after 11 games he left.

He'd finished one point off the play offs in his first season and who knows might even have got us up with an experienced assistant rather than Millen at the insistence of Lansdown.

This isn't supporting the party line as we've been accused of on FBC this past week, it just stating the reality of what happened 18 years ago.

Hang on..... don't forget the "magnificent seven" new signings.

There’s a few who immediately upon joining began following each other and one established poster on here who continually slagged off Pearson

    Spooky eh

Not many ‘follow’ each other’s accounts , and to do it immediately on joining - sort of speaks for itself

I agree and it's been proven.

Personally I think it's a disgrace. It's more like the actions of a despot dictator in a banana Republic trying to sway opinion one way or another.

The owners may well own the club (and I have personally thanked SL for everything that he has done for the club), but they do NOT own the supporters! We are entitled to an opinion whatever side of the argument you take BUT, I draw the line at Bristol Sport staff taking sides in order to support their bosses. Suddenly arriving here with an agenda to help the powers that be.

For me, I'm done. I will not spend one more penny at matches, no food, drink or in the shop.

I have already paid for my season ticket plus parking so will see out this season but it will be my last. 62 years man and boy.

Not since 82 have I felt so down about the club I love and the direction it's taking and the people running it.

  5. Just goes to show what the powers that be actually think of the supporters and just how low they will go to try and justify a ******* awful decision!!

Kremlin tactics from Bristol Sport and bloody shame on them for it...

Yep Nigel was clever he knew exactly what he was doing in that sense.

I can see you in 50 years going round the streets with your leaflets preaching the cult of Nige.

    So your a teacher?

Bollocks, teacher my ass. My daughter IS a teacher and no teacher would ever ask someone "are you in love with Nigel Pearson"? Serious question.

You are not a teacher but you are a ****....

NP started with 5-3-2 throughout the club and only switched to the current formation part way through last season so it shouldn't be unfamiliar to our players, once Atkinson's fit we should have enough CBs although another addition would be preferable

Another addition was preferable in the summer...

When I first posted about the new accounts it was on the Saturday night before NP was sacked on the Sunday. There were 5 or 6 new accounts that joined and all were anti NP. Mods said later on that thread that they were indeed BS employees and they had signed up with there BS email addresses.

    Makes my piss boil!!

Had a right go at a couple but what does it really show? It clearly shows the powers that be knew that there would be a backlash and tried to redress the balance a bit.

That in turn also shows they don't actually give a rats ass for supporters opinions.

    Very Kremlin-esq, and ******* appalling....

Wait until you read Max O'learys interview in the post. I commented about it in the manager bingo thread.... outstanding work JL

  9. Already started unfortunately.

Today's Bristol Post interview with Max..... PR machine working overtime

What really grates with me is Max was the player a lot thought was the weak link but got tremendous support from Nige. And then this...

Credit where credit is due ..... oh, here are the credits.

    Max O'leary interview

    Written by.... Bristol Sport lackie

    Editor....Jon Lansdown

Produced and directed by..... Brian Tinnion

    Performed by.... Max O'Leary

The Kremlin has a lot to answer for!!

is there a minimum number required to post then?

Obviously not but since Nige was sacked a lot of new members are posting, some of which are stupid enough to put their names which can be linked to Bristol Sport and some actually use a BS email address.

So sorry but any new member that blindly follows the BS line gets short shift from me.

    Very Kremlin like....

    Exciting times

Liam's worked at Westham Redbull New York, managed Lommel , Oxford and MK Dons.

Plays high press, brings on youth players and has a very good win percentage.

Absolutely fits the description given last week.

    Not seeing downsides

    Never managed above League 1?

Not a bit of a downside?

Well it would be weird for the club to announce thay there won't be an announcement every time a false rumour starts up

At the moment I'd take that it’s better than **** all!

Just goes to show no plan!!

Just fire a bloody good manager and then make the rest up as we go along.

    Shocking, and completely amateur.

I guess this will be make or break for Mr Gay, probably one of the most controversial fans of the club.

A number of people have written about the new coach being appointed today (myself included) but my source had no clue (or wasn’t prepared) to say who it is.

So respect to Mr Gay if he’s correct.

    No, respect the "impeccable source"
