  1. Are you expecting the answers to be quite different to what @Galley is our king has told us?
  2. His mum is a regular customer where I work, usually sporting Villa training wear. I’m sure she’ll be as proud of him as she always is. Though she’s quick to bring him down to earth if he ever shows any signs of getting above his station. Lovely lady with a lovely son.
  3. Sorry if it came across like that but I can't understand why you can't see what everyone else can. And no you won't be able to find a picture of a packed stand in a recent league game because there hasn't been one. I've got one from the Man City game and it's not looked like that since, yet it's sold out most games. Anyway, happy to agree to disagree
  4. Not on UK tv or Robins tv but may be shown on certain foreign channels.
  5. I PM’d Lenred with a similar photo but even closer, you can clearly pick out one section where there’s 10 empty seats with 6 empty just behind, easily enough to sit a football team, as well as loads of other spots with 5 /6 seats empty. I’m not sure why he’s so defensive towards the South Stand, it’s plain to see and like it most games.
  6. Old people, they’re nothing but trouble
  7. Exactly my thoughts and pretty much how you’d describe the team he plays for. There seem to be some on here that think every other keeper in the championship never make mistakes and have constant flawless displays. Sadly for Max, he’s always just one mistake from being slaughtered on here.
  8. I guess there’s a capacity limit for each match wether reserved or not and that is potentially reached in every game. It’s just a lot don’t turn up but there’s no way of knowing if they will or not
  9. Come in the Lansdown and take a look, it hasn’t been two thirds full most of the season. I’m in the Lansdown lower and it feels full around me but take a look from the Dolman and you see loads of empty seats. I haven’t got much time to get a decent pic but this is from the last home game and it’s pretty much like that all over, maybe a bit more busy further back but even quieter towards the LS side
  10. The times I’ve been asked about tickets for matches where a group of lads, often who usually play but for whatever reason aren’t, want to go to a game but all that’s available are 2 seats here and there in the Dolman for £35. In the South stand they could comfortably seat the whole team together on most match days in any section but there are none or few available .
  11. Agree mate, Bigbury / Bantham. Nige has a house near Ivybridge.
  12. That’s what the likes of Man Utd do now but minus the (without good reason) The odd thing is it’s not just the odd couple of seats, there’ll be 15 /20 seats in a row without anyone in, all supposedly sold and that’s in every section of the SS.
  13. Well I wonder if the club will be looking at this and wondering if making tickets cheaper will fill the stadium and I mean actual people in the stadium not just sold seats. Ideally they would get bums on the seats that belong to season card holders that rarely go, which in the South stand seems to be real problem in recent times. Difficult to do while still being fair to season card holders, I know.
  14. There are far better and tastier things to fill you up on Christmas Day than Yorkshire pudding. But each to their own I suppose.
  15. I’d love to get an honest answer from someone. Even if it was - we just can’t be arsed with club merch- at least we’d know. But maybe there’s a genuine answer out there, can’t think what it’d be after all these years.
  16. Sounds about right, I think Coventry in the top flight was huge but before my away days had started
  17. Glad you didn’t fall, I was stood underneath. Yeah I’d say about 3000. MK Dons a few years ago we took a good number.
  18. I’ve got 3, West Ham will be 4 away days but I’m wondering how many Plymouth is likely to be. It’s not until Easter but looking at the fixtures I don’t think I’ll have any more than 5 or 6 by then and I reckon they’ll be snapped up by fans with a good number of away days.
  19. My uncle, who used to do some scouting back in the day, watches Newport regularly. He’s a big fan of Seb and messaged me last night about his goal and performance
  20. I enjoyed that second half. won’t be long before we play well both halves, hopefully
  21. They can have Potter, we’ll get Mark Robins as manager and Mark Ashton as………..maybe not!
  22. I see it's 40 years ago today that we had our famous FA cup tie at Eastville. The 1 nil down, 2-1 up game. One of the best away days that marked the end of our tragic slump and the start of our steady rise back up......... which is still going, steadily.
  23. Yes, I mentioned in my first post theyve barely moved, very poor 5 seasons. But as a City fan with a Stoke supporting wife I've been to an FA cup final, Valencia away in Europe and seen all the big clubs beaten in the league. Jealous doesn't come close to how I felt at some of those occasions. To think they went up the year we almost did.....
  24. We're winning that race on the longevity front..... by a mile Not long ago they were 10 years at the top
  25. Official now. Stoke remain pretty much where they've been since their drop from the Prem
