  1. If you knew nothing about our club and listened to that you’d think Brian Tinnion was our CEO, first team manager, director of football…….. Over to you Mr T.
  2. I guess we were going to get an interview conducted by a mate or get nothing. Jon just isn't up for being interviewed by a proper journo, it's not in his skill set. Hopefully and by the sounds of it he's finally realised this and will get someone in that can.
  3. The more you hear the more you realise how scared or inferior to Nige, Jon and/or Tinnion must have felt. To do it when they did, when you haven’t got anyone lined up, there must have been some brutal exchanges leading up to that I’d love to have seen.
  4. Curtis is in danger of becoming the latest favourite for the job and his own OTIB thread. It does feel the 2nd heavily influences the 1st though
  5. Seemed to hint that Nige wasn't finished and neither were the 2 of them as a partnership
  6. I thought it was just mine, strange!
  7. Was a very good interview. He finally deserves an upgrade to an F after that.
  8. Crikey, when this thread was started thought it would last about 10 replies.
  9. Yes he took the corner but has made a number of decent passes. I think I said it’ll take 4 or 5 games to settle into top flight football but he already looks right at home. If Bournemouth go down I can’t see him staying there.
  10. Mine went through fine but I did hear others had problems. I did use the app not the website, don’t know if that made a difference.
  11. Yeah unless we’re away to Exeter or Plymouth evening games even at home are a no go on the train, sadly.
  12. Yes the train isn’t much better, 2 hours 40 I think with a change at Westbury. No chance of getting back that night, can’t even do that for home evening games, so cheap hotel. I happen to be off work them 2 days anyway.
  13. I know how you feel but remember the only constant thing with a football club are the fans. In 1982 we had a mass exodus of fans in a couple short years. Looking back I’m proud I was there to witness what was a massive time in our history however depressing it was. Back then we’d have given anything to be a couple wins from the top 6 of the second tier. All we can do is go along and see what happens but I feel I have to be there to witness it, it’s my club.
  14. I know what you mean, looking at the map it should be a piece of cake from here in south Devon. Truth is I could drive to a few midland clubs quicker. I’m taking the train this time as I can’t be arsed with that south coast road.
  15. Ticket booked, a new chapter in our clubs history and I’m old enough to have seen quite a few, good, bad but mainly mediocre. looking forward to the next, it’s all you can really do.
  16. The first “oh well, life goes on” moment about to happen with the tickets going on sale in a few minutes. Hopefully we’ll still take a good few and it won’t be Nathan Jones in charge against his old club.
  17. Amazing. I think technology has moved on so much we can now get Tommy from Sweden back…….as long as all his posts go through AI
  18. Yes I was there, worst away game for a long time and as you say a we didn’t do ourselves any favours. The return fixture was quite good though
  19. Those remembering his team beating us earlier this season may be forget that was the game a few of our players forgot how to pass a ball more than 3 yards. Plus from the few I’ve spoken to, the Birmingham fans seem more angry at who he was dumped for more than just him being dumped
  20. I thought it was just a bad back!?
  21. Looking through the bookies depressing list of serial failures, this certainly wouldn’t be the worst option.
  22. go on then, I’ll be the first to ask. How do you know, ITK or just a hunch?
  23. In a Q&A in a pub in Wolverhampton about 12 years ago he said he wouldn’t go on forever and would look to sell
