  1. Cheers Nige. Hope you're back mends soon and see you up on Dartmoor for a walk
  2. It's a fast moving thread and I may have missed it. Is this the first thread like this in 50 years'ish that hasnt mentioned Warnock?
  3. Rowett is a good shout if you never go to games. If you do, then its just too boring to watch.
  4. I was just trying to steer away from the pretty depressing list we started with
  5. There was a time when we were in a similar, though not as bad, a boat as Brighton. What a project it could be for him......
  6. Anyone mentioned Graham Potter?
  7. There aren’t any of those I’d want. Robins seems to have hit the buffers at Coventry, maybe taken them as far as he can. He wouldn’t surprise or disappoint me.
  8. Well there were a few on here suggesting this was happening today/tomorrow, I just couldn’t see it. However good their intentions, the Lansdowns continue to show their total lack of ability to run a successful football club.
  9. There’s not many people left to blame and start a thread about now.
  10. Looking forward to this rare midweek away day, a new ground for me, though I have been to the Dell. Train and accommodation booked, decent priced tickets and hopefully something resembling a proper first team available for us. Can’t wait.
  11. That’s the trouble with highlights. He did get one mention for a pass during a passage of play though.
  12. MOTD producers must have worked hard to edit out all of Jonathan Pearce’s Bristol City mentions today, he must have had a field day. With 4 of our ex players playing and one not making the squad, surely the most ever in a Premier league game
  13. Quarter final, semi final and final all by one point. A great team but they had the rub of the green which you need to win it and probably deserved it.
  14. Welcome back Rob, I’m presuming? It will be good to see him back. Hope it goes smoothly, there’s often small unrelated injuries after long lay offs, so I guess we’ll have to be patient.
  15. Crikey. how many defeats by a single goal have we had over the last year or so? Edit *******
  16. Kelly, Scott and Semenyo all start for Bournemouth. And they're one down
  17. I'm no expert but aren't they targeting the wrong fans there? I think if I was out to cause trouble I don't think I'd be going on the coaches
  18. You usually sack someone on the back of an unexpected bad defeat. I don't think anyone will be surprised if we lose today.
  19. A number of people saying this. I can't see it myself, unless SL is blaming Nige for the injuries there's no way he'll sack him in these circumstances.....is there?
  20. One of these seasons we're going to get good fortune on the injury front. Probably the same season we finish top 6
  21. I know a few Birmingham fans who weren’t over happy with Eustace saying the football was a hard, dour watch a lot of the time. The few times I saw them I think they may have had a point but after escaping relegation for a few seasons you’d think they’d just be pleased to be challenging nearer the top. Having said that the same supporters weren’t keen on Rooney taking over, maybe they just like a good moan.
  22. Frustrating. The 10 minutes before and up to their goal I thought we could be in trouble. surprised Ipswich then sat back, I think they could have had us on the rack. In the end we were desperately unlucky not to get the draw, dominating in the last 20 minutes.
  23. We're an accident waiting to happen when the ball is in our box. Need to make better choices when attacking but there's hope in that department.
  24. Mentioned Scott’s part in Bournemouth’s goal. Cant wait to see Alex once he’s back to full match fitness and settled in to the Premier league
