    Pathetic! OTIB.

According to their forum the official figure is 275, no way is there 275 there.

    275 eh?

**** me they really do have amazing away support don’t they? no wonder they keep banging on an on about it at every possible opportunity.

Remember, it’s just what they do...

The IDEAL stadium is one that is
    1) 20,000 to begin with.
    2) Can be increased easily to 30,000 if required.
    3) Has the capability to hold a 50,000 stadium should long term success be acquired.
    4) A final 80,000 capability if they became Champions league established..

I think the Emirates Stadium is only 60k, Old Trafford is 75k.

How big a club do these deluded idiots think they’re going to be??

I have just been reliably informed that when the horse punchers were in the conference their away support was bigger than ours, as ours that year was terrible, someone give me a doctors number I think I need someone to be sectioned

The year we got promoted as Champions from L1?

We averaged about 1400 away that season. Higher than they’ve ever averaged.

Oh yeah I find that. Everywhere I go and I say I am a city fan everyone stop talking to me and I am shunned. Meanwhile my gashead brother in law is treated like a king.

I know, it’s such a ridiculous thing they often come out with.

I remember seeing a post where one of them said they went into a shop (cant remember where, somewhere up North) and the staff asked where he was from...he said “Bristol” and they gasped in horror, then he said “no it’s ok...I’m a Gashead” and they breathed a sigh of relief :rofl2br:

******* dumbos. I swear they believe the shit they spout.

What they don’t ever seem to take into account when reciting stories of people they’ve met who apparently hate City is human nature. If I meet a Sheffield Utd fan, I’m likely to just go along with whatever they say about Wednesday...not tell them the truth that I couldn’t give a monkeys toss about either Sheffield club and find both sets of fans as arrogant as each other.

Either that or people just feel sorry for them.

    From our favourite bullshitting friend

"They way some fans go after DC has all the hallmarks of they way our 6 fingered friends went after little Lee after a few bad results last year..... look at him now !. Also was told last night that he is on Sunderland's list of replacements....

I’ve been buying the Viz for years and nearly every month they do a spoof ‘Take a Break’ style gossip magazine article.

It always features some fictional, attention seeking bullshitter making outrageous claims about things they’ve got up to with celebrities in private or boasting about inside knowledge they’ve obtained by accident whilst unblocking Brad Pitt’s bog.

Henbury Gas and his computer shop is a bit like a real life version of that.

A seasonal poem by B J Tann RA

    “Dirty days hath November”

Bathed in darkness by the Jordan bank a tented village lays desolate and forlorn

As riders approach, behold, a shimmering shaft of light penetrates the deepening gloom and a purveyor of conveniently sized plastic food containers comes forth

Pity, say the wise men from the East, we backed you each-way in a handicap with less than sixteen runners and if you had finished in the first three we may have been in business

Not Ted Tupperware by any chance?

.Obv we are going to laugh long and hard in the short term, but celebrating the financial demise of any football club (even them!) leaves a bit of a nasty taste.

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not suggesting we give them any 'help' (we all remember '82 etc) but should we really 'gloat' if / when the brown stuff finally hits the fan.......

I don’t think for one second that they will go under, however if the shit was to hit the fan big time I’d have much more sympathy for them if they hadn’t constantly thrown 1982 in our face for the last 30 odd years.

"The away end is covered, but by a plastic tent thing which seemed quite temporary"....wrong Mr Port Vale fan, it's permanent. In fact, I'm sure they were playing Port Vale when a wayward shot nearly knocked the whole thing down.

Why isn't that Sag journalist trying to find out what's going on at the club instead of trawling the Internet for the handful of comments out there about the Mem that are'nt taking the piss?

No mention of the comparison to Chernobyl

    Millwall fans loved the place...

  9. I genuinely think they will get sold again to someone else.

When that happens the same assortment of Gas belters, whoppers and numbskulls will be back on Social Media shouting about how rich they are, outspending Lansdown, “Shitheads, we’re comin fer you” etc. because they never learn.

You’re forgetting it’s all about evolution!  Their fans don’t want instant success apparently, they are happy to slowly evolve.  Unfortunately for them they are evolving slower than life on earth!

Well, yes...that's what they're saying NOW.

That wasn't the case when the Al Qs took over. They let their true colours show on Gaschat talking about waving handfuls of fivers at Morecombe fans to show how rich they were , outspending Lansdown, 6th richest club in the country, 'mind the cash', "a new era is comin SHITHEADS" etc.

They really, really don't help themselves.

They still quote the thousands of day trippers they took to Wembley a couple of timesthe deluded fools. Only 26000 last time though. Their core support is about 7,000 I know a few that started going again that haven’t been for decades. If the built a new ground :laughcont: the would maybe average about 12,000 too start with then it would level off . 45,000

We all know he’s not the only Gashead who thinks their support is that large, it’s hilarious. We get 20k crowds and I’ve never heard a City fan suggest we’d get 45k in the Prem.

...and they accuse us of having delusions of grandeur. :laughcont:

They’re easily the most deluded fans on the Planet.

So what happened to the 2.5-3000?

Gutted for them really, after only 10 minutes they were already dreaming about drawing us next round for their big cup final. Obviously don’t know how the FA Cup works for Prem and Championship sides.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a bit of City bashing from the Gas.

Wally is obviously a sandwich short of a picnic.  And I mean that.

I think Wally ‘the Judge’ has been hanging around with Sagheads long enough to have picked up their favourite habit of lying about about City to people who don’t give a shit whilst playing the victim.

My feeling is that the only way SL would get involved would be to buy the Mem, kick the squatters out, burn the tents down, and build a nice little stadium for the Bristol rugger boys to return home.

    As for the Sags.....Bye!

From a business point of view that isn’t the best way to go though. He’s shelled out God knows how many millions to bring Ashton Gate into this century and become a stadium that we can be very proud of.

The Rugby helps to bring in a lot of money for Bristol Sport. If you build a new stadium someone’s got to pay for it...from SLs point of view, having the City and the Rugby using the same stadium and bringing money in every week makes more sense.
