Ffs. Was planning on meeting se

mates at Hammersmith. Is there another easy option to get from Paddington to Hammersmith

Yes, Bakerloo to Piccadilly Circus, change onto the Piccadilly line for Hammersmith.

    Correct. Then to Cardiff.

    Yes, the following season.

Presumed by ‘that heart sinking moment at the Valley’ you meant the game when Lansdown turned up with LJ.

Either way, Warnock would have likely got us promoted at some stage but there’s zero chance that Lansdown would ever let a manager like that near our club.

Also punctuation is very good (not saying Nige is not competent)

It reads to me as someone writing for Nige.

Wasn’t aware that Nigel’s Twitter posts were usually so lacking in basic punctuation with countless spelling mistakes?

  4. “please support YOUR team”

I really hope that is exactly what happens today, even if things don’t go as we would like them to. This is the team that he has assembled on a tight budget (for this division), they’ve done nothing wrong. Encouraging the players for 90 minutes is not the same as condoning the actions of those at the top of the club.

Thank you Nige, we’ll always wonder what could’ve been achieved with an extra 2 years and a decent transfer kitty with a experienced football man in charge. But then as you know our owners only talk about promotion, they don’t really mean it.

They usually contain a series of much smaller boxes, containing a smaller (shitter?) gift. 😉

Yes, that familiar disappointment when someone decides to buy you a little Gareth Ainsworth for Christmas, even though you’ve never asked for one in the past and you don’t even like Gareth Ainsworth.

Funny you say that how could he not replace Des williams"s name after the original stand was named after Des ?  Couldave named the south stand at least after him out of decency .

I still call it the Williams Stand.

Whilst I obviously appreciate the money he put in to rebuild the stadium, I thought it would’ve shown real class to keep the names of the stands as they were before 2015.
Ashton Gate has been our home for over century, it wouldn’t kill anyone to have some visible sign of that on the outside of the stadium or in the seating (Atyeo Stand aside).

Still, it’s his toy, he’s going to do whatever he wants with it.

Who was the bloke that barton whacked in the tunnel?

    Stendl?

Also Barton didn’t whack him, he voluntarily dived headfirst into the side of the structure for no reason whatsoever then tried to pin it on poor Joey.

  8. He’s not Ainsworth or Jones so that’s a good start.

Whatever happens none of the shit leading up to this is his fault so I hope (if it is him) that  fans will give him the support a new manager deserves despite our disappointment with the way NP was treated.

Also, it’s wrong - it was 8 years ago, not 9. The Williams was still in use when we were promoted in May 2015.

    Yes, this is bizarre.

9 years ago the Eastend had been demolished not the Williams.

  10. Thanks Nige, kept your side of the bargain but feel you've had the rug pulled out from under you. Kept us in this division despite the financial restraints.

Hope whatever medical issue you’re dealing with is diagnosed and treated promptly and best of luck for the future.

We can't say much. That was the main feeling for us before he came to us.

Don’t think any of our fans shouted at him that they wish he’d died from a recent, serious illness though. Horrible bastards.

Cotts is supposedly an “arrogant”, “horrible man” but Barton isn’t?? 🤣

I don't think he would. We obviously have the banter with each other (the minutes booing when he passes away) but I feel that he has a weird respect for us and our fans.

As mentioned, he has stated publicly that he respects us and has said that we are one of the clubs he would have like to have managed.

Warnock finding one last way to wind up Bristol City fans would actually be pretty funny

There’s only one club in Bristol he has said he wanted to manage….and it’s not the Gas.

Oh no, he’s still going. Don’t do drugs kids…

Might be a refreshing change for him to manage players he wants in a squad he’s balanced and prove beyond any doubt he has the nous to take a team from nowhere to somewhere. He’d certainly get backing by both board and fans and that might sway him to do a job he’d actually enjoy for a while. We might just be a stepping stone in his journey back to the top flight but the longer you’re not in a role the easier it is to forget you.

They got more chance with Beatrix Potter.

Who else does Terry F*ckwitt think is in the frame?

    Mourinho is ex Chelsea?
