Someone referenced his "lung-busting run" late in the game. That's the sort of commitment and energy we want to see from every player, every game.

Given the circumstances, I'm pleased we got a point from this game. Now we need to rack up a few wins on the bounce.

I won't be holding my breath, but carefully introducing some new faces may not be a bad thing. As soon as it was reported Reading were missing so many of their regulars, the writing was on the wall. We never seem to beat a team "weakened" by injuries and suspensions. From the sublime to the ridiculous, as usual.

Throwing Martin on is akin to throwing in the towel. When the Reading players saw him coming on, they knew the game was won.

Don't know about our identity, but with TK at Centre back, and O'Leary in goal, we finally have a brand ....... TK Maxx. Assuming O'Leary holds on to the shirt, same applies when Kalas gets back on the pitch. Things are looking a bit more ship-shape and Bristol fashion. It might be foolish to discount our chances now.
