West Ham are absolutely dire to watch. Genuinely think regardless of the score today they could do with a Manager like Thomas Frank. They're very one dimensional.
-
We need a player like him who can play Midfield, centre back and full back because of the amount of injuries we get. We can't seriously compete in the top half if we are constantly playing player's out of position due to injuries (for example Pring at CB).
-
He'll need time to implement his style and will need to shift many players off Spurs' books to start with. I just have a good feeling he'll do quite well
-
They tend to play with a high intensity, not necessarily expansive. They press pretty hard from the front and have lots of similar low centre of gravity forwards like Kyogo and Jota. He seems to have picked up Japanese players who imo in the last 3 or 4 world cups proven to be very good footballers and has used his knowledge of that league to his benefit. I am very intrigued to see what he can do at a more advanced club with more money.
-
Good appointment imo.
-
Hopefully we reverse what LJ did to the pitch by finally making it wider like it used to be years ago.
-
I can't believe he won 59 caps for England. There have been so many more talented Englishmen than him who haven't even had half of those amount of caps.
-
I wouldn't put it past Gary Neville.

There's a big difference between slagging off refs and harrassing/assaulting them infront of their families at an airport. Has anyone on OTIB stooped that low?
-
He will be Salford manager next
-
Disgusting those fans at the airport. Totally egged on by Mourinho's antics after the game yesterday. Taylor actually reffed the game well. The two benches were a disgrace on the night and the footballers diving about every other minute ruined a potentially great spectacle. Compared to Rangers vs Frankfurt last year in the Europa League final, this was some drop off in terms of Entertainment, the game being played in the right spirit and quality.

Steve Cotterill sacking now confirmed

Didn't they finish 3rd not so long ago? -
Sadly it hurts every time I see a new club promoted to the Prem before we do. I know we have been 'top flight' before, but it hurts. We've come close only really once since 1980. The club is massive in terms of support, infrastructure and potential, but we have been acting like a small club for way too long. Probably ourselves and Plymouth really.

Just me has this been 3 pretty dire play off finals
-
Bournemouth you have been useless
-
Please Bournemouth just do your job and send Everton down. The meltdown would be great
-
I watched the whole time thinking eventually Dortmund will blitz Mainz here. Just didn't happen. The usual huge atmosphere Dortmund have just slowly evaporated as the game went on. Was a very strange match to watch. Have to feel for their supporters today.
-
I genuinely don't know why any City fan would wish Luton well. It was bad enough with Blackpool in 2010, then Bournemouth, then Brentford but Luton going to the Prem before us really is a bitter pill to swallow. In the global sphere of Football today, where new generations of football fans are being born by the minute everything that happened pre 1992 is becoming more irrelevant, sadly. Unfortunately the clubs who are a Premier League club and clubs who are 'Former Premier League' clubs are the ones who are seen as relevant in the mainstream media and global football community. Everything else is irrelevant. We will always be seen as small time by the casual fan until we one day make the Premier League. It's sad but true
-
Plymouth, Preston, Millwall, Rotherham will likely get promoted before we do. I can't see it ever happening for us as sad as it sounds
-
I watched the game and the whole set up pre match and at the start felt very cagey and nervy for my liking. I don't think their players handled the situation very well at all. They ideally needed to start fast, go 1-0 up early but they didn't. Bayern went ahead and the pressure mounted, Mainz went a goal up and Dortmund immediately got a penalty, which they missed. Mainz were always a threat on the counter for sure but Dortmund in my opinion lost all composure on the final day when it mattered. Unfortunately for Mainz I think the whole of Germany will hate them now for allowing Bayern Munich winning yet another Bundesliga title ?
-
I don't think i've seen a last day bottlejob as bad as this ever
-
Utterly depressing to be honest
-
Having played Football at an ok standard I can confirm that even the smallest amount of positive support can push players that extra 10-20%.
-
The stats were embarassing that game. We should have lost 8-2 but won 2-1. We were very 'spawny' under LJ and Holden

Get in Stockport. Do not want the Salford vanity project to be successful.
