  1. They're up there with the Gas, for me. Can't stand them, hated them even before that season. If they were a Championship regular with us every season like Cardiff and Swansea i'm sure there would be a rivalry.
  2. Swansea are not a bigger rival than Swindon imo. Maybe because atm they're in the same league but for me it's always Rovers, Cardiff, Swindon for us as rivals go. Swansea and Plymouth are clubs we just don't particularly like. I feel we have forced a rivalry a bit with Cardiff and Swansea but that's just my own personal opinion.
  3. If Reading had played any side in the top 10 on Saturday they'd have lost 3 or 4-0. They were a poor side. We are nowhere near ruthless enough up front.
  4. QPR, Rotherham and Wigan I reckon. Huddersfield to battle their way out and Blackpool to surprise a few. Long way to go yet.
  5. Chelsea are among one of my least liked clubs. Their fans are disgusting. Potter was bullied by their fans from day 1 and was never going to be given a chance to turn things around, they expect success and have forgotten what they once were 30 years ago. Complete arrogance, i'm sad that Potter decided to go to Chelsea, it was never going to work out.
  6. The irony of your last sentence. Maybe our bad run has come because we have lost Atkinson, Naismith, James, Conway, Kalas, Williams and now Sykes has a 4 game ban. 6 of those members are core members of our first team.
  7. Who the **** boo's one of our own players? Whatever you think of them, that's pathetic behaviour
  8. We have a healthy rivalry with both Plymouth and Swindon when they're in our Leagues. Nothing too volatile or strong, just good banter usually and a bit of an edge to the matches. FWIW I've not minded Plymouth for a few years now, they've had their woeful years in League 2's doldrums doing nothing, be good to see them back in the Championship for a match against us. Also would be a good away day
  9. A truly bizarre line up put out by Spain, yet again. Screams that they just thought they'd go into these two qualifying matches and win both with ease. Scotland are no mugs nowadays, especially at Hampden.
  10. Getting to the Championship wasn't the issue, it was the short termist planning of GJ with his transfers that probably set them back a few years after they got Relegated. Lots of loan signings and lots of free transfers. Should have kept the squad they had when they went up and come down with the same players who got them there.
  11. England would do well at 2014 World Cup... We were dreadful.
  12. I went in January with a mate. It's steeped in History, but definitely needs doing up a bit, proper ground though
  13. This definitely needs to happen. I think we'd also raise the tempo against the opposition if we were playing at the likes of Elland Road and Old Trafford
  14. It was a very sweet win for me being a Wiltshire lad. We had a shocking record against them for a few years before that, poxy little wins they kept getting. At that point I hated them more than the Gas. You Bristol lads are lucky you don't have to experience Swindon fans as well as Rovers.
  15. Even an hour before the game in the stands and concourse you could feel there was quite a toxic atmosphere in the air. For many games against Swindon I felt that the game meant more to them than us, that day we finally stepped up to put them back in their place. Absolute gobshites on and off the pitch
  16. They were a very good side. Ran out of steam around February time. We had a bit more strength in depth and made great loan signings to extend our lead at the top. City, MK Dons, Preston and Swindon that season in League 1 were all very good sides at that level
  17. Heard it from the likes of Gary Neville many a time - they'd rather be with their club and not socialising with their rivals. Yet these same Man Utd players thought they were mistreated by England. Entitled primadonnas, the lot of them
  18. Well that's us ****** for the next 4 games then if none of the injured players will be returning in that time.
  19. Owen was outstanding for England between 1998 and 2004. He got us out of jail on so many occasions, along with Beckham
  20. This generation of players absolutely **** on the 'Golden Generation'. It's great to see they're one unit now when playing for England.
  21. To be fair that's a great win and imo a good performance too
  22. Was good in its time (late 90s, early 00s). Tim Lovejoy could see it was only going one way as that time had past. Been absolutely awful ever since, has slowly got worse and worse. Too many try hards.
