  1. RIP. A Great servant to the club.
  2. So have we decided to change our kit mid season then?
  3. From what I saw of it, looks decent Huboo sponsor looks crap though.
  4. All a matter of opinion, but it was the whole identikit era of every club's Adidas kit looking similar, same with Puma. Also coincided with how crap we were to watch when we played in the Adidas era.
  5. If I am right we were one of the first Championship clubs to use Hummel as kit supplier. It is likely they are in financial difficulty and it wouldn't be surprising if other Championship clubs who were also using Hummel as their suppliers went to alternative options next season either. Anything can be better than the old 'DAS' kits we used to have and the ones made by Adidas.
  6. I'm still happy with the Hummel kits. They fit nicely for a Gym workout too, compared to our old baggy tops we used to have with Adidas.
  7. Didn't Ainsworth take over when they were in the relegation zone in League 2 and sent the Gas down to the conference on the final day of 2013/14? He has done a great job for Wycombe.
  8. Based on numerous listens to the podcast over the past few seasons I would say that Alex Scott isn't really the sort of player Ian likes. He prefers more physical players. Just something i've picked up on anyway.
  9. Proper club with loud and passionate fans. Would much rather play a Millwall than a Fulham. Always makes for a better atmosphere. I think 'admire' is a better word to describe them than 'like' when it comes to Millwall.
  10. After yesterday, I am putting up a petition for him to have the key to the City of Bristol. Legend
  11. I assume you were not one of those calling for Pearson's head 6 weeks ago
  12. Have always been Pro Pearson even in our bad days. He is the right man for this club, whether we see the success under him or not we have needed him as Manager. The club is changing behind the scenes, there has been a weak mentality within the club for years, it's needed an experienced and strong Manager to change this. He is rude and he is obnoxious at times, so what. This club has been a pushover for far too long.
  13. James was outstanding today. Broke the game up so well. A well deserved point
  14. If only Bell had played in Mehmeti and not Sykes FFS..
  15. Thought we played quite well tbh. Fairly in control for the most of that half and imo it was a penalty. Player clipped Sykes.
  16. I think you're forgetting that Cardiff City were punching well above their weight in the Premier League that season with the team they had at their disposal. His recent record at Championship level is above average. You just don't like him and that's fine, I don't like his sides style of football either, but it's been successful up until today.
  17. Neil is not a vile man at all. When I was young I went to watch us play Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. I had stayed overnight in Sheffield before the game and the day before went into Streetwise Sports only to see Neil Warnock, Phil Jagielka, Paddy Kenny and Michael Tonge signing autographs. Neil recognised our accents so we told him we were up to watch Bristol City play and he was honestly a lovely bloke had nothing but good things to say about City signed my football and told us to batter the Owls (we won 3-2). Definitely a different man away from the cameras.
  18. He took over Cardiff when they were bottom of the Championship, kept them up comfortably and then got them automatic promotion. The previous season to this he kept Rotherham up and they looked doomed before he took over. He did average at Boro. I'm sorry, you might not like him but to say his recent record isn't great is not true at all.
  19. I am in awe of how he just grabs games by the scruff of the neck and does something from nothing. Man United have needed a player like that since Rooney left.
  20. I'd say his remarks about us are now no longer insult worthy and more a compliment. Out of all the clubs in England he has played against in his long career we've wound him up the most.
  21. They do it every game at the Winterstoke Road entrance. Recently been a chap there shouting his mouth off directing people to walk a certain way too. Surely it's a public right of way and if you don't have a ticket you won't get into the Ground anyway. Just a bit annoying really
  22. Top 10 in the world, on current form since the World Cup.
  23. If we don't have a ticket we won't be allowed in the Ground anyway, just thought the guy shouting out loud about it is a bit unnecessary.
