Plenty of good reasons why people feel the way they do.
Exactly so particularly those who witnessed the pre Lansdown era.

Sounds like you need some Imodium sir, if it’s close later in the game I feel things could get a bit messy!
It will get messy on these pages ...one way or another!

I'm so excited about this game that my sphincter has put in a transfer request.

Fair play for sticking it out. I was at the back of Williams B block cuddling some random stranger to keep warm
I never understood why we didn't swap telephone numbers

All very reasonable questions. All very reasonable concerns, challenges.
But........over-thinking it??
Six months is a very long time in football. So many if's and but's along the way.
It doesn't feel to me like it's some kind of massive departure from our direction of travel/strategy.
I'm just looking forward to seeing a good player, who'll give us something different, and - even if we don't make 6th (I don't think we will) - may contribute to us ending the season with more confidence about next. And let's see where we, Burnley, Twine, Williams and everyone else is then.
Very good post. I can't recall a loan player ever being more analysed as to what will happen beyond the loan prior to even kicking a ball.
We are desperately in need of reinforcements to help the team now and that's what ,on the face of it, we have. As long as I have supported this club, loans have been hit or miss. If Scott doesn't cut it here then we have not wasted several million and if he does then we will be in the pole position to sign him and ,of course, the player will have the final say in where he wants to be .

Am i allowed to be pleased he has joined? TBH i couldnt give a toss if it costs the club a few quid - just give me entertaining football and if this lad is the spark - bring it on
There's a lot of fog on the Twine deal

P.s In 2014, a missing woman on a vacation in Iceland was found when it was discovered that she was in the search party looking for herself.
And did you know that if you bang your head against a brick wall you lose 150 calories an hour.

Since our formation in 1894 some 130 years ago we have enjoyed enormous success and history with top flight football and Trophy success, amazing facilities and financial stability until those pesky Lansdowns came along and ruined everything.
Lets force them out and return to the club we once were.

I don't understand how a game (Bolton, in this case) can be abandoned because someone is taken ill ? In acrow of 20k the chances are someone is going to be "not very well". It just seems a bit
OTT and Nanny state these days. Of course nobody wants the guy to be ill, but stuff happens. I'v had the misfortune over the years to see a couple of people die in the ground nearish to me. Yes, it's not nice, but it just seems over reactionary to abandon the game because someone is taken out , perhaps it's just me, but it never used to happen .
If someone is taken out at a game then probably best to make a quick exit

He was on the pitch for just the final 10 minutes when City were mainly in defensive mode as WH tried to grab the winner but I guess in current otib mode that's long enough to start a thread on his performance.

I think he is. Just a bottom half championship keeper.
If we want to be a top 6 side, we need better IMO.
On the basis we have a defence worthy of a top six side and we are not leaking goals, I fail to see how replacing Max is up for discussion at this point in time.
The route to becoming a top six side is by scoring more goals. It's the play in the final third that needs to be better, IMO.

Good read about us, https://www.whufc.com/news/overload-central-areas-bristol-city-analysed
Yes- a good read.
Also a little surprising to see that with a sell out 62500 crowd- it's the record FA Cup attendance for the hammers at this stadium.

I’m not saying it about this one player just hopefully he is the one for the future there has just been so many false dawns with the same rhetoric said ,
Bournemouth hope he’s the right one aswell
In previous decades there were many overly hyped youth players but that has changed massively and the fact that BCFC field more players from the youth system/academy than most teams in Europe is testament to this.
As far as Bournemouth go- Alex has played in 6 out of 19 Prem matches due to ongoing injury issues whilst Semenyo is in and out playing 28 matches since he left BCFC scoring 4 goals at a combined cost of £30 million so I'm not sure if if they'll be reaching for their chequebook any time soon.

I think they were being sarcastic and making exactly the same point you are making in your second paragraph
No- it wasn't sarcastic- he is genuinely sick of 'one's for the future' - at least that's what he says in other posts.

I’m sick to death of this one for the future business , Marvin brown , Dominic Barclay , tristian Plummer , need I go on
Barclay, Brown and Plummer are between 14-20 years ago!!
'One's for the future' also included Vyner, Bell, Conway, Tanner and Pring in our current team and also Scott & Semenyo. Need I go on?
But if signing one of Ireland's leading emerging young talents who is likely to be be knocking on the first team door before very long makes you sick to death then at least it's a consistent narrative.

Nice to see a bit of Latin on his tattoos -"Alice Grave Nil " is on his left forearm which translates as:
"Nothing is heavy to those with wings"
Let's hope Adam is 'per volar sunata'.

Great to see a young modern coach at last making the most of the players at his disposal.

Ian Gay and I couldn’t agree…..I’ve had plenty of ‘debates’ with him over the years and he only has one view on anything - his own.
I think it's safe to suggest that you also hold strong views.
However, the point being as made by @Fjmcityis that the idea of consulting "experienced" fans on a new Manager appointment is funny.
Just imagine if they got it wrong : A bed sheet protest with "Experienced fans out!"

Scott Twine - Loan Confirmed - No option to buy

As @Harry says- JL may not be revealing the full extent of any additional arrangements and why should he? I don't know quite when it became the norm to disclose every aspect of a deal and who knows what Burnley want to fully disclose publicly?
There is also the player himself who could have pushed for the move- loan or otherwise in order to work with Liam again and try to recapture the sort of form that got him his big move. Who knows? but he will likely be now playing for his future wherever that may be.
