No one says No when the Chairman of Bristol City comes calling.
Although, in fairness, it was his son. And TikTok.

Is it a German airport?!
By luck, I'm flying to Germany. I could literally be walking down the airport concourse as our new manager walks the other way.
This could be my most ITK chance ever.
(PS: could someone post a picture of the person(s) I'm supposed to be looking out for...)

is anyone hanging around Clifton Village, Temple Meads and the Airport for us.... we need better scouting...
I'm going to the airport later so happy to help.
(To be clear though, it is not Bristol airport. Hope that doesn't matter)

Where do you sit?
Really interested to know.
South Stand.
Still waiting for the football reason.
Although a couple have mentioned they are happy with the football due to the cards Pearson has been dealt.
I disagree but that's fine.
I thought people were upset due to the football... my bad.

Plymouth home, hull away, Swansea away, first half vs stoke, second half vs Ipswich, Millwall away….all awful were they? Deary me
Two of the games you mention we lost.
You forgot 3 minutes against Coventry where we played well. Deary me.

Just one football reason? Anyone?
I find it really amusing when I ask this how many insults start flying.
It's because the Pearson Fanboys realise the football really is awful.

The fact that I’d have to explain to you says it all really
Another wonderboy fan weren’t you IIRC
And still not one football reason.
Always the way with the Pearson Fanboys.

Put very simply
THE WORST FOOTBALL DECISION MADE BY ANYONE ATTHIS CLUB IN AT LEAST 50 YEARS
Complete Clowns
Aw bless.
Just one reason then, why this is a bad footballing decision?
Is it the scintillating football?
The results?
The style of play?
The yes men, old crocks?
Everyone, and I mean everyone, who sat around me, didn't like pearson's football.
You?

So,so happy about this. Like, I expect, the majority of City fans.
We could now appoint a fantastic manager, or a crap one. Probably the latter.
But it won't be Pearson, so that's good.

I heard 2 fans talking on the way out of the ground last night that Pearson had tried to get rid of Mehmeti in the summer QPR wanted him (Ainsworth obviously had him at Wycombe) but the deal fell through at the last minute
I didn't hear why and obviously this is just 2 people chatting so could be utter rubbish.
Did one of them have a pack of crayons? This would completely change the dynamic of this.

I'm getting this trying to forward ticket for Ipswich:
Any thoughts to resolve? Thanks.

Andy King. It's the turn for an internal, totally untested new man.

Has John Eustace won as many league games this season at Ashton Gate as Nigel Pearson?

OK. I'll make it easy for you.
Give me one idea why you like "Nige"?

The minority and having no idea usually goes hand in hand, so don’t stress too much.
Who's in the minority?

A new manager. No idea why people like "Nige" so much.

English football's angriest fans:

Amongst others ....
I agree apart from Millwall. Nasty maybe but not angry.
I think the anger comes from those who have known greatness but lost it.
For that reason, I'd add Notts Forest (that really winds them up). And, in a couple of years, Manchester Red.

Whilst this was a great result and, on the whole, a good display, we did manage to give Plymouth plenty of chances.
The usual suspects, Naismith, Vyner and O'Leary gave the ball directly to an opposing player in a dangerous position. Some great tackling, and some poor Plymouth finishing disguised this. Do the same against Leicester and Vardy is going home with the ball under his shirt.

This sounds awful. C-level people don't just take on another C- level job.
Also, CFOs don't know how businesses work. They understand numbers. Period. I give you Steve Lansdown as an example.
Imagine making these decisions!!

I imagine the new owners will look at Jon's experience, talent and aptitude for the job, and the way forward will become very apparent...

Is this not a chance for a brand new song for Tuesday night? In recognition of Alexander's achievements?
I was thinking of 4.33' but I'm not sure everyone would join in. Therefore, how about:
"Alexander, Alexander,
He's not great,
But nor is he a mate,
(South Stand) Of Jon's, (Lansdown Stand) Of Jon's, (Dolman Stand) Of Jon's,
So he's left Ashton Gate."
