Reminds me of skiing holidays in France and playing a dangerous game of trying not to shit in my salopettes!
Sitting on a toilet with ski boots and salopettes on is one of the hardest manoeuvres known to man!

What was interesting is SL still rated Ashton following his departure and had kind words to say.
He destroyed everything good following our promotion season but the owner is unable or unwilling to acknowledge that.
You are right about Pearson. I like how he is going about this season which is a big improvement on last year's disaster.
He’s hardly going to start slagging Ashton off in public is he!

Atmospheres turgid since the redevelopmenmt and of course that matters but not for all my son sadly binned watching city as its boring now. The Dolman is now dead deceased 100% for atmosphere. fans doing more!! fans got told one game by the stewards they couldnt sing and if they wanted to do so should go in the singing section. weclome to the new world attack more please City because if you dont its a library as the away fans kindly remind us every home game.
To be fair the atmosphere was crap most of the time for the last 30 years ive been going, the redevelopment has nothing to do with it at all. If the games good, and we are playing well, then the atmosphere is great, if the game is poor and we are playing poor it’s rubbish, that’s just the way it is. The atmosphere at the Man Utd game in the newly developed ground was immense, so that proves that the atmosphere can be great in the new ground

If we’d held on for the win it wouldn’t have changed where we are, the same as letting one in doesn’t change it either. We are in a rebuilding phase with a new manager and new players. Frustrating as it is, too many people on here can’t handle being football fans it seems!

Sorry, but King and no Nagy is not merit based selection. Could say the same about Kalas....but no Nagy even in the bench if he is fit is pretty scandalous
Personally I don’t think Nagy has shown enough for us, fair enough he had a good euros but his fitness for me is an issue

How times have changed... wasn't Ferguson one of the loudest opponents of the stadium developments? But happy to use it to promote one of his businesses?
I’m glad Ferguson took that stance to be honest, I much prefer staying at AG, I think he was right

New rug! Skin it off man, you’ve lost a lot of dignity signing for them, but don’t lose it all with Prince William Denial Syndrome! I was a sufferer until last year when I skinned my hair off, I’m a new man!

Why focus on that point when apparently not wanting to make any comment though? I think they didn't fully understand what that meant and used it to suggest that no crime took place. Regardless they knew the implication of what they said and wanted to throw doubt on the case though apparently didn't want to comment.
100%, they mentioned it in their statement because they thought it meant he was innocent as there was no victim, otherwise why mention it at all, a complete lack of understanding which resulted in anger and confusion, whoever is in charge of their media had a shocker

So he stays in his job for now, albeit see what happens at the next court appearance, I assume that’s before December? His job as manager for me is completely untenable, guilty or not guilty, as soon as they hit a bad patch the pressure will tell, he will kick off and the wheels fall off. I predict a brawl at training or after a game with JB in the middle of it. An absolute car crash of an appointment on all levels

On Gaschat somebody pointed out that he’s had only one less court appearance than wins as manager!
Taking to one side JB the person, his record as manager at Rovers was awful, he had more than enough time to steady the ship last season if he was as good as he thinks/says he is, but spent 17 games or whatever it was blaming the previous managers, the players etc etc.
For Wael to then give him authority to sign players and start a new revolution seemed insane, as he certainly hasn’t proved he has the ability to do it. His position now is surely untenable, the players will have no respect for him as a manager or a person.

Some good rave tunes in there, I don’t think you’d get away with band name Smart E’s today!!

There is no cure for inherited colour blindness. If there were every optician that I've ever seen would be trying to upsell me. You can however, get glasses to help with some types of acquired colour-blindness (at least according to the spec-savers aussie website.)
Yeh I appreciate there’s no cure, The link I shared was about the very same glasses you’ve mentioned

When I first met my wife and I told her I was colour blind she said to me ‘you do realise I’m ginger don’t you!’
So glad I’m not the only one who didn’t know Dairy Milk has a purple wrapper!

Best defender in the league

From the old division 3
