New rug! Skin it off man, you’ve lost a lot of dignity signing for them, but don’t lose it all with Prince William Denial Syndrome! I was a sufferer until last year when I skinned my hair off, I’m a new man!

Why focus on that point when apparently not wanting to make any comment though? I think they didn't fully understand what that meant and used it to suggest that no crime took place. Regardless they knew the implication of what they said and wanted to throw doubt on the case though apparently didn't want to comment.
100%, they mentioned it in their statement because they thought it meant he was innocent as there was no victim, otherwise why mention it at all, a complete lack of understanding which resulted in anger and confusion, whoever is in charge of their media had a shocker

So he stays in his job for now, albeit see what happens at the next court appearance, I assume that’s before December? His job as manager for me is completely untenable, guilty or not guilty, as soon as they hit a bad patch the pressure will tell, he will kick off and the wheels fall off. I predict a brawl at training or after a game with JB in the middle of it. An absolute car crash of an appointment on all levels

On Gaschat somebody pointed out that he’s had only one less court appearance than wins as manager!
Taking to one side JB the person, his record as manager at Rovers was awful, he had more than enough time to steady the ship last season if he was as good as he thinks/says he is, but spent 17 games or whatever it was blaming the previous managers, the players etc etc.
For Wael to then give him authority to sign players and start a new revolution seemed insane, as he certainly hasn’t proved he has the ability to do it. His position now is surely untenable, the players will have no respect for him as a manager or a person.

The charts just as I finished my A Levels. A couple of dark years for chart music was to come (Mr Blobby/Barbie Girl absolute Kak), until it all came alive again around 95/96.
Some good rave tunes in there, I don’t think you’d get away with band name Smart E’s today!!

There is no cure for inherited colour blindness. If there were every optician that I've ever seen would be trying to upsell me. You can however, get glasses to help with some types of acquired colour-blindness (at least according to the spec-savers aussie website.)
Yeh I appreciate there’s no cure, The link I shared was about the very same glasses you’ve mentioned

When I first met my wife and I told her I was colour blind she said to me ‘you do realise I’m ginger don’t you!’
So glad I’m not the only one who didn’t know Dairy Milk has a purple wrapper!

**** me. I’ve just learnt that today. Purple is my nemesis. Either blue or pink to me. Quite often I guess it’s purple when I can’t decide which colour it is, but Dairy Milk being purple never occurred to me.
My worst error was buying ink cartridges for school. We had to have blue or black ink. There was a great offer on “Peacock Blue” so I bought a job lot and was pleased as punch until the **** of an English teacher refused to mark my work as apparently it was turquoise.
My biggest error was wearing my Dads white shirt to school when mine were all dirty and not realising it was very pale pink!

Genuine question and 100% not a piss take....but how do you cope with the City kit and the pitch?
I’m colour blind and red/green and blue/purple are the biggest clash. I’m 42 and I only found out last year that Dairy Milk wrappers are purple and not dark blue, true story!
re: City players wearing red on green pitch it has no impact for me, I guess I know City play in red so not a problem!

Melksham 1-1 Pikeys
Barnet 3-0 Pikeys
Early days, but not a great start..
I love the excuses on Gaschat of ‘don’t worry we are getting players back to fitness’ well surely that’s the same for the opposition!

See Joey has decided to overcome the goal scoring issues from last season with a new formation based entirely on season ticket sales.
Out of interest, what were their season ticket sales in the last normal season I.e. 19/20? Just wondered how this compared?

This is just ridiculous. This season we scored just 6 more goals than the gas and conceded just 2 goals less. To "celebrate" their relegation is maybe worth a slight chuckle but let's not kid ourselves, this could have quite easily been us going down.
Yes, they're rubbish. But we're only ever so slightly less rubbish. This is tinpot.
If Rovers fans would have done this we would all be laughing at them for being tinpot, I mean if the execution of the joke would have been better it would have helped, but it’s embarrassing for all concerned I would say

Yes its rife at that club. I've had some of their lot tell me they sell out every away game. Haha what a ridiculous statement that is and when I got the stats up to disprove they disagreed and said it was inaccurate.
Classic Donald Trump approach, just say the stats are incorrect when you don’t like what they say!

I think DM came in at a particularly bad time, similar to now in fact, I would have liked to have seen him get a chance at a point when in and off the field we weren’t such a mess

Joey Barton had 16 games to show how brilliant he thinks he is! I know it’s not his players, but surprised he’s being devolved of any responsibility!

What I find odd is that on GasChat not one person is calling out Wael. As they say, the fish rots from the head, and although he’s chucked some money into pay debts and buy a “training ground” the culture at Rovers from top to bottom is clearly a mess and culture stems from the leaders of your organisation. Players being unprofessional, managers being unprofessional, terrible stadium, terrible recruitment, they are an utter utter shambles. What a shame

If Wimbledon win tonight the gaps 9 points to Wigan as it stands so would need snookers, it’s as good as done I think

And now your gonna believe us? Bottom after 5 mins, enjoy the moment

0.92 points per game so far, with 5 games to go, that gives them say another 4/5 points and I can’t see 43 being enough, especially if any of the other teams get something from the games in hand. They also don’t have a good goal difference which is worth a point.
So 5 points, 5 draws or 1 win and 2 draws still seems pretty tough with the fixtures they have left. I can see them getting 1 win against maybe Crewe or MK Dons, but more than 2 wins I just can’t see it, especially with their lack of goals and terrible defence, but not counting any chickens, a lot of bad teams down there!

I’m glad Ferguson took that stance to be honest, I much prefer staying at AG, I think he was right
