He has met with NP more than once now and he spoke with him after the game when he watched Oxford a few weeks ago. I would think this one is well advanced and possibly our first summer addition

Picking/watching players you want beats analysis and other data. Old school scouting and talking to players 121 means NP is sussing out players he can trust and rely on to do exactly what he expects on match days whether they are good human beings or not. Play my way, do what I ask and you will succeed. If you aren’t on the bus then good bye

Absolute daylight robbery 

Didn’t bother renewing my ST at the end of last season and have been a handful of times this season. Each time I left at the end of the match I asked myself why put myself through it. It’s painful to watch and predictable. Of those 6 games I seen us win once.

I take my hat off to those who continue going week in week out, they are hardcore and easily pleased perhaps 

I want to see progress with NP but my god we have some absolute garbage that needs moving on before I bother even contemplating going to another game 

He’s hardly going to come out and say we are going to spend big and get 8 players in!!

no one can be happy with this season and where we are, big changes in playing staff are needed and I can’t see SL accepting the same crap next season so he has to make some funds available otherwise NP is p****ing in the wind and that doesn’t mean selling the Crown Jewels again and ending up with journeymen 

Just wish we could string a few passes together and get players into the game as it’s all Barnsley

Surely we have players in the U23 squad that play at RB most games, would it not make more sense to play them at RB in the first team rather than exposing SB in a position that is probably alien to him?

Complete ban on all sports for Russia and totally isolate them. Putin may not be bothered but the Russian people will and hopefully take to the streets and put pressure on to force a regime change

Semenyo, maybe sold but only if we get an insane offer (£20 million+).  With Scott it would have to be past £30 million given the length of his contract.

£10 million plus add ons and sell on for Massengo would ensure the FFP is sorted and leave some leeway to buy players.  May also allow us to take a bigger hit than we'd prefer on the players under contract who we want to get rid of. I can imagine Nige doesn't want to see certain players for another year and wants a side that is clearly his own starting the season.

It wouldn't surprise me if we accepted offers for Kalas, Dasilva or Bentley too. All will have 1 year left and still retain some kind of transfer value.

Wells & Palmer need to be off loaded this summer, Vyner, Odowda & Taylor Moore paid off/released 

HNM is the only one who I can see leaving and is a player who is difficult to fit into a NP style 

Scott & Semenyo are must keeps 

I think NP will bring in a RB, CB and wide player minimum and another midfielder 

Watched Boro against Man U in the cup and they look a decent side 

I would take a draw today but fear we will lose by the odd goal 1-2

Calm, picks the right pass, wins everything in the air and good organiser. The bloke oozes class and certainly him and Kalas look a decent pairing.

Frustratingly, you don't need to play especially well to score 2 or 3 against us at the moment. I felt that was the case today - Blackpool didn't really impress me, but found themselves 2-0 up at HT. It would be such an improvement just to make the opposition actually earn the goals they score against us!

Blackpool are a pretty bang average side but they maximise what they have which is physicality and hard work. If you don’t match them then you won’t beat them with just technical ability. We are consistently inconsistent and concede soft goals too often 

Not sure if today was just one of those days or if too many were under performing

The pleasing thing about these players coming through the academy is that they are making an impression and being given an opportunity 

How many times have we seen them given the odd game and 10 mins here and there

They are technically very good and are trusted by NP 

SL must be pleased that we are developing and playing our own and the investment in the academy and facilities is hopefully bearing fruits now 

Surely the EFL won’t sanction this when they are under an embargo
