  1. Sounded like he’d gone all Korey Smith on them out there! Was Belly’s hamstring injury v Stoke that gave Tommy his chance.
  2. I saw a WhatsApp message saying “THAT IS WHAT HE DOES” from @petehinton as the radio comms said “and Max O’Leary had made another poor kick and given it away” and assumed we’d gone 2-1 down. ???
  3. Nige explains that he didn’t want to weaken side tomorrow for u21s v Newcastle, and as it’s a replay you can’t register any “new” players (assume he means existing ones not registered).
  4. I guess it’s our only midweek fixture in January, so maybe not so bad as a week gap after Blackburn.
  5. Some of that comes from timing too. Even the physical strikers can be pushed off the ball if they don’t time their ball control with positioning their body / planting their weight correctly. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying he’s nearing Akinfenya proportions, just surprised that he was more muscular than I thought. Luckily I’ve had a little side-bet on red 20! ???
  6. I guess it depends what your budget forecasts are for the following seasons. Might be better to spread it out??? But all a bit unknown at the mo’ as the rules aren’t out yet (not to us anyway).
  7. Norway is the only one in my Windscribe free list….but someone posted elsewhere viaplay aren’t showing it???
  8. Any ideas which countries? My Windscribe vpn only has certain countries free?
  9. That 13:56 is on top of the actual injury time, 7:23 on average. So a 90 min game 111:19 long….21:19 of added time if the clock was stopped in a similar vain to the WC!
  10. Academy players per match day squad this season. City average c6.4 Championship average c2.5 (Richard Gould Fans Forum Oct 2022) Could be a lot involved again tonight too.
  11. Not that it matters but I used to assign: Champ 1 - PL 18 Champ 2 - PL 19 Champ PO winner - PL 20 Ehen trying to compare, so therefore: Fulham - Burnley Bouremouth - Watford Forest - Norwich
  12. from the bits I’ve read it will work like SCMP / La Liga where it gets added when received. So, humour me for a mo’ with an example: £5m transfer profit, buying club pay in a single lump sum - £5m transfer profit added into that year’s income pot that is used for turnover. £5m transfer profit, buying club pay 60% up front, then 2 equal annual payments of 20% - £3m added to this year’s revenue, £1m next year, £1m year after that. That’s how I understood it.
  13. Correct, it’s all to do to splitting “net Gate receipts”.
  14. Being slightly facetious / pedantic (?) on the round pegs, square holes, how does that apply to Kal Naismith playing DM on Saturday? I know he’s a versatile player but Saturday was just his 5th appearance in that position. But the same token I’d argue Weimann is versatile, and Scott can be versatile because he has such good technique and football intelligence. Not aimed at you per se, but I see quite a few posters on here (and twitter) moan about holes and pegs, but when they pick their team for the next match do exactly that which feels a bit cake and eat it to me, e.g. Cundy up-front!!! ?
  15. Appears to be rules of FA Cup….hotel costs if over 3 hrs away.
  16. Not if you’re Accrington Stanley!
  17. Yep it was Sky that did the original edit.
  18. I saw him up close at Swansea game, I’m surprised how much he has bulked up, now “more of a man’s physique than a boy” - if that makes sense?
