  1. Some of that comes from timing too. Even the physical strikers can be pushed off the ball if they don’t time their ball control with positioning their body / planting their weight correctly. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying he’s nearing Akinfenya proportions, just surprised that he was more muscular than I thought. Luckily I’ve had a little side-bet on red 20! ???
  2. I guess it depends what your budget forecasts are for the following seasons. Might be better to spread it out??? But all a bit unknown at the mo’ as the rules aren’t out yet (not to us anyway).
  3. Norway is the only one in my Windscribe free list….but someone posted elsewhere viaplay aren’t showing it???
  4. Any ideas which countries? My Windscribe vpn only has certain countries free?
  5. That 13:56 is on top of the actual injury time, 7:23 on average. So a 90 min game 111:19 long….21:19 of added time if the clock was stopped in a similar vain to the WC!
  6. Academy players per match day squad this season. City average c6.4 Championship average c2.5 (Richard Gould Fans Forum Oct 2022) Could be a lot involved again tonight too.
  7. Not that it matters but I used to assign: Champ 1 - PL 18 Champ 2 - PL 19 Champ PO winner - PL 20 Ehen trying to compare, so therefore: Fulham - Burnley Bouremouth - Watford Forest - Norwich
  8. from the bits I’ve read it will work like SCMP / La Liga where it gets added when received. So, humour me for a mo’ with an example: £5m transfer profit, buying club pay in a single lump sum - £5m transfer profit added into that year’s income pot that is used for turnover. £5m transfer profit, buying club pay 60% up front, then 2 equal annual payments of 20% - £3m added to this year’s revenue, £1m next year, £1m year after that. That’s how I understood it.
  9. Correct, it’s all to do to splitting “net Gate receipts”.
  10. Being slightly facetious / pedantic (?) on the round pegs, square holes, how does that apply to Kal Naismith playing DM on Saturday? I know he’s a versatile player but Saturday was just his 5th appearance in that position. But the same token I’d argue Weimann is versatile, and Scott can be versatile because he has such good technique and football intelligence. Not aimed at you per se, but I see quite a few posters on here (and twitter) moan about holes and pegs, but when they pick their team for the next match do exactly that which feels a bit cake and eat it to me, e.g. Cundy up-front!!! ?
  11. Appears to be rules of FA Cup….hotel costs if over 3 hrs away.
  12. Not if you’re Accrington Stanley!
  13. Yep it was Sky that did the original edit.
  14. I saw him up close at Swansea game, I’m surprised how much he has bulked up, now “more of a man’s physique than a boy” - if that makes sense?
  15. The other side of the football world.
  16. He said he’ll go strong. Guess the likes of Williams, King and Dasilva come into contention for starting places, although I didn’t think Dasilva did himself any favours on Saturday.
  17. I know this was posted before, but… …it’s interesting listening back. This was originally posted more than 18 months ago, just after he got the job permanently on a 3 year deal. Not gonna argue that progress is a bit slower than I expected, but this guy got his insight spot on. This guy has just done one on Dean Holden too. That’s worth a listen too.
