  1. Leeds isn’t as much as a write off as people think for me, as good as they are their away form has been patchy for a while. The two worrying ones for me are Southampton and Coventry due to the form they’re both in. Middlesbrough tough aswell, we’ve shown we can get results there but their home record has been good under Carrick

Seems to be in the same bracket as Adam Murphy and Alex Scott a few years back as signed for the academy but may well see a first team subs bench very soon (well, next season as he's going back to Shots for 6 months). Like the look of this one.

Think there’s a chance we see both Murphy and Stokes heavily involved in pre season maybe even see Murphy in the squad this season. Really excited by both though

Blades forward Brewster went in to a tackle with both feet up, from behind sends the WH player flying and the ref gives a yellow card!

it was a shocking tackle, a real leg breaker.

VaR send the ref to the monitor who then eventually gave a red, a deserved red,

Two points 1) why didn’t the linesman just feet away tell the ref it was a red? 2) had VaR not been available Brewster would have got away with just a yellow.

Good job there was no VaR at AG on Tuesday………..

So to confirm VAR did its job on this occasion?

  4. Completely agree with the fact our throw ins have been poor, will say it’s not strictly the throwers fault but our movement from them was non existent. Hence why Tanner always opted in the end to throw it back to Vyner

  5. Set pieces were excellent and obviously nice to get a goal on his debut. In possession in open play he wasn’t at his best but we know he can get better and I look forward to see him against Coventry

Joe Williams - suspended for Forest / Blackpool - 2 yellow cards in FA Cup.

Remember that happening to Pring last season and immediately thought the same could happen here. Shame but James/TGH showed their worth last night

    My MOTM

Agree, superb. Best game he’s had for us and looks very good in a back 3. We know his limitations but as a 1v1 defender there’s not many better than him in the league

I had people on me laugh at me a few weeks ago when I said "we won't realise how much we've missed him untill he plays" hope you're having a good evening lads.

    Where was this?

That’s fair but GENUINE competition for a place never did any proper player harm, only those you don’t want anyway.

Oh I’m with you around competition, not entirely convinced around Bajic as number 2 but similarly I’ve only watched him against Lincoln where he was let down by the team in front of him. Bentley was on too much of a wage to be second choice to Max

  10. His first mistake since Ipswich at home and this is how some people react? Bloke is the biggest scapegoat at the club because people have this weird obsession with Bentley. Both Pearson and Manning have opted for him as our number 1, I trust them over everyone who says he’s not good enough

Delap is massively overrated. Man City hoping he hits a patch and someone bungs them £10 million I reckon.

Struggled on his loans last season but at Hull he’s been very good I think. Not sure he’ll make it at Man City but think he has the potential to be a Premier League player definitely

Amazing strength in depth for Hull in midfield and attack now, comparing them to use we are miles off them on paper. Football ain't played on paper though, IS IT LADS?!?!

Played them twice and picked up 4 points, arguably should’ve done the double. Think he’s a very good player Carvalho but feel like they’re better off strengthening at the back than up front

I didnt see an outstaning perfromance. Two shots right at him. He didnt move.

The goal, he was very poor (aswell as our back line)

For me, he's one of our weaker players.

We need at least some real competition for him

That is incredibly harsh to say they were straight at him, he had to react to push the one from Fornals away from danger and the one Pring almost put into his own net (presumably the one you’re talking about?) he had to be decisive on where the ball has to go and he was able to block and get it away from danger

    Et tu Selred?

No one has said double FA about the defenders ball watching.  Apparently that's because Bowen is class.  But heaven forbid the goalkeeper not immediately reading his defence's specific mistake and rectifying it.

I said in an earlier tweet the defenders were ball watching hence why I said partially. I guess you can just say he was hesitant when the ball came over but taking nothing away from Bowen and his movement. I’m one of Max’s biggest fans so I don’t want it to come across that I’m scapegoating him

    Subs were mind boggling

We needed fresh legs as West Ham were gaining momentum. All gave us more energy and even Cornick which I was surprised about in the position he came on did well imo
