Decided to go realist rather than optimist. I think we can make top 6 this year, but I’ve answered on the assumption we’re mid-table again. Give me no points here and 6th placed any day but if we don’t make the play-offs, here’s hoping a good score here keeps me cheery.

It's the silence that's annoying me regarding the away kit at this point. If the club just put out a statement to say 'we'll be releasing the away kit in September due to a delay and utilising the home and third shirt until then', that'd be absolutely fine. But the head-in-the-sand attitude to the kit issues is grating!

I wouldn’t be amazed if Cornick or Mehmeti got the nod to start to be honest. More Cornick than Mehmeti actually - I think Bell starts. But it’s a good discussion to be having - competition for places and all that! 

And with that, pre-season is done and dusted (barring an away kit I’m convinced the club are too scared to release!).

I thought Bristol sport made some nice enough stuff. My away kit from 19-20 is still in good nick now, 4 years on.

I'm going to buy one of the kits this year as is my own little tradition, I'm still holding out hope the quality isn't quite as wanting as others suggest. The design for the home kit is actually quite nice, but granted, if it falls to pieces after two washes that won't really matter.

I think I’m generally pretty positive too! A bad day in work combined with (seemingly) a 4th injury in pre-season wound me up but I like to think Stevie has mischaracterised me a fair bit there

Bloody hell man who are you to talk to another poster like that? One of our star players went down without contact - always a red flag - so yea I’m miffed and disappointed. But that response? Good lord mate, reconsider how you discuss things.

Conway went down with no one around him before heading straight down the tunnel according to people at the game. Vyner also subbed late on, not sure why at this point, but I’ll leave him off the list for now. Conway goes on though, that’s an injury.

Austria cost us Naismith, the first pre-season fixtures cost us McCrorie and the fixtures after that seem to have cost us Weimann. And we still have two matches to play. Frustrating! Also frustrating is (to my knowledge) no comment from the club regarding any of the above. But City’s inability to talk to us of late is for another thread!

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you were just testing fields wouldn't you just go with 123 Lane Street. Just make shit up. Mr A. Man. I'd like some clarity from the club sooner rather than later really.
