  1. Maybe the question needs to be asked why the old kit suddenly turned up on hummels website when none was available for months. This might help explain why the club pulled the plug when others like Coventry didn’t

As for the new stuff, must admit the flying robin is growing on me but on the training gear rather than on the kit

  2. In addition the stand had an enclosure at the front and to make it from the seats onto the pitch there was a large partition that needed to be climbed over.

When viewed with modern eyes it seems obvious the risk and it was one of the first of what seemed a string of disasters that occurred mid to late 80’s

But the whole point of the regulation change was to have closer and more exciting racing. The opposite has happened. F1 has a problem!

Redbull dominating leaves a sour taste in the mouth due to them breaching the budget cap. By breaching it they were able to develop a better car than anyone else and because of that breach they are well ahead in the development curve of their car.

Horner said today that it will only be in the latter parts of the season will Red Bull feel the effects from the wind tunnel reduction penalty they received. So by default they continue to get a lasting benefit from that breach. He said he expects other teams go close the gap when that occurs. But it's too late by then isn't it?

At least when Merc were dominating, they had two drivers that were allowed to fight for the Championship. That car Perez had today could not have been the same as Max's car. The whole Redbull team and its car is set up for Max and that's what is making it such a borefest.

Traditionally regulations are normally changed to slow down a dominant team rather than provide closer racing. It happened in the 90’s to slow down Williams then Ferrari, Red Bull and now Mercedes

Red Bulls current dominance is somewhat exaggerated by the DRS which provides easy fake overtakes

Actually 2021 leaves more of a sour taste, not so much because of Abu Dhabi but because there was a unplanned regulation change gave Red Bull an advantage

That's true now, but when you hear the stories of the fans having whip rounds to pay the players less than 10 years ago, that's where the fairytale bit comes in to my mind.

This and the fact that the two Hollywood actors chose to buy Wrexham in the first place after everything their fans had been through is the fairytale

  5. Personally find Cardiff and Swansea being given free/very heavily subsidised stadiums more galling. Swansea were struggling in the bottom two tiers but get gifted a new stadium and within a few years are in the top flight. And Cardiff went from being heavily in debt in an old stadium to also getting to the premier league

It’s also strange how they give they whole proud to be welsh thing but not proud enough to play in the welsh league

Is the best option Bakerloo line(brown line) and get off at Harrow and Wealdstone and then Overground to Watford junction?

AND if you like Model trains

Whole of the Bakerloo line along with the DC lines from Euston are closed all weekend. Mainline services to Watford Junction are unaffected

To be fair (and I can't believe I'm even slightly sticking up for Downsy) we're sat directly behind the goal in the SS and it wasn't immediately clear until the first replay whether Harry's touch was behind the line or not.

Watching it live from my position in the SS at first glance it looked like it had crossed the line before Cornick made sure

  8. I’ve had a south stand season ticket for the last two seasons but in September changed my job from one where i was able to do almost all games to one where I’ve managed around 50%

I looked into whether it was more cost effective to be a member and only pay for the games i can attend, but the cheapest available on a match day is the dolman wings and it works out around the same price as a season ticket which has other benefits build in.

Technically I’m preventing someone from attending 50% of the time but if the club don’t sell out in the first place they’re hardly likely to offer a ticket exchange unless the club is able to resell my seat for the full price

It's the right thing to do, even if it won't make us popular with the refs.

To be honest, the standard of officiating is so bad that the clubs need to band together to get these complaints heard and a solution found. It's absolutely abysmal that so many incompetent fools are promoted beyond their abilities to the professional game, but the lack of talent available is the key aspect.

Former players should be encouraged into reffing. Refereeing individuality should be removed and the laws should be adhered to strictly and consistently. That's the only way you get this right. No more "letting the game flow" or nonsense about an early red ruining the game- a red is a red, minute one or minute 90.

I reffed plenty of games when I coached, and it is hard but with professional levels of fitness and a team of assistants there's really no excuse for how bad it's got.

Andy Davies was a former player don’t forget…

Guess he's on board with Barton’s tales of woe.

Guess he’s also forgotten the countless penalties and times they’ve played against 10 in the last few years
