No one is forcing anyone to mourn?

Like it or not, the queen was our head of state for 70 years and she held a special place in the majority of people's lives.

We will never see anything like this in our life times. We are living through history in real time.

By the same token you are trying to force people to go to football matches who would probably rather not.

Not sure what part of ‘it’s personal choice’ you don’t understand

Would any of us really want to go? There would be no music, it would just all feel very sombre and flat.

Very much doubt that any of the TV/radio stations would give much attention to the matches.

It’s personal choice whether people want to go or not and whether they want to make noise or not

The point that’s been made several times is you can’t force people to mourn in 21st century if they don’t want to it’s no longer the 1950’s

The last time the head of state died the football wasn’t postponed but, bizarrely, it was for Diana so I’d say yes it will be.  I’m unsure why football would be and everything else wouldn’t be though. Doesn’t make sense to me

Would just say the Man Utd game tonight goes ahead so who knows

The whole concept of it taking longer to get from the edge of London to South East London, than it does to get from the edge of London to Bristol, was lost on me until I moved down here. It's completely ridiculous and (along with suicidal Uber drivers) was one of the reasons I got rid of my car 4 years ago. The loss of the 22.36 from Bristol to London has been even more disappointing. I wrote to GWR who said write to NetworkRail. I wrote to NetworkRail (twice) and got absolutely no response. It makes midweek games a real pain. Bizarrely the service does run on Saturday nights.

I’ve noticed the 2200 from Bristol comes up from the West Country so all GWR need to do is add a stop order at Parson Street. Would be doable just

They haven’t learnt from last season that pit stops should be banned when VSC/SC

Hamilton won a British Grand Prix one year that way and nobody complained. Some you win some you lose

Although it does disadvantage the lead driver

    They’ve always checked every goal

Maybe what they need to do is follow crickets example where you can make say 3 challenges to a decision per half.

That way it doesn’t take ages per decision and you keep an element of human error in that’s seen in every other league and also fans can be more involved

Maybe this is a bit controversial but I doubt Man U would have the same support around the world and in this country if there had not been the terrible air crash in 1958, I think they became a lot of peoples second team and that seems to have endured through the generations, what do you lot think?

I actually heard somewhere that’s where a lot of their support in the south came from and some of that rolled over to the next generation

Obviously some glory supporters latched onto them during the days when they were winning everything but in the 80’s it was Liverpool picking those up

Where have you seen it's not running? Thought it ran 1750 and 1850 on midweek matchdays?

The trouble with the 32 is the last one back is 21:23 so there will be none running after the game is over.

In the Tammy Abraham season got lucky with a taxi after 10 minutes walking back but don't want to rely on that.

It’s on Wycombes website, is very annoying as it’s now a choice of walk or taxi back to the station

    I'm with you

They are basically Bristol City with more success and why wouldn't they be when you compare Bristol v Nottingham, very similar in many ways

Fanbase is overrated in my opinion, they have averaged less than 20k in the Champ in the not to distant past

In fairness if we got to the prem we’d have just as many ‘fans’ come out of the woodwork as forest have

Wait a minute, wasn't it the Hull player buying a penalty when he wasn't fouled,(minimal contact) ran a further 3ft before falling forward, and the ref pointed to the spot, and yes ,the referee should be punished for making the mistake, this is where VAR comes on, it's needed

And they seem to have quietly dropped the charge and 3 match ban for those deemed to have deceived the official

Of course Bailey Wright was one of the few (or only player) to be hit with that
