Sorry to break the sad news to you mate you have lived a sheltered life. Neighbours is not real. Around my place neighbours bring beer around at about 10.00am on a Saturday morning and we then fire up the barbie.

The TV show was actually filmed in a suburb about 20 minutes east of Melbourne and is always a major attraction to pomms visiting OZ.

I did the tour when i visited Melbourne years ago and after about 5 minutes suddenly realised what the hell am i doing I’m taking photos of houses

The whole sadness thing is interesting though, despite people not having watched it for 10 years plus it’s taking people back to that point in their life and they’re saying goodbye to it

  2. Just chased mine up to be told it’s been sent to a temporary address in Bristol, only problem is i haven’t lived in Bristol for 17 years ??‍♂️

I’m both perplexed and low key impressed given how they managed to do that when not only am I’m renewing but they also post me away tickets to my actual address several times a season

Watching the 2nd game, not too sure about Wilson.  Especially defensively.  Wouldn't be surprised to see Tanner play in away games and Wilson at home...

We are assuming it’ll be one or the other, we did play both Jay and Pring together on the left a few times last season and could see us having Wilson and Tanner together on the right side a few times this season

  4. The whole thing yesterday was pretty bizarre, the Plymouth fan in question seemed to revel in the attention and it was bizarre that Plymouths stewards solution was to move him and not the people he was with

As for the chants, I’ve hear them at several away games and whilst it’s pretty cringeworthy it seems par for the course although it’s unfortunate that kids get to hear it

I think they should bring in mandates for sun cream.  If people don't wear it sack them from their jobs and ban them travelling to other countries,  even if they are not going in the sun.

Obviously we all need to wear sun cream to protect others who are also wearing sun cream.

What would be then be then even more far fetched surely is for the people who introduce this rule to then proclaim 'my body my choice'.

    Good luck with that..

  6. Unless I’m missing something here virtually all the teams in our division that play in red also have white or black on their kit meaning we’re going to use the third kit more than the away kit

  7. Some more dates have been added now including the 20th August which is the original date for the Cardiff home game, so maybe we dodged a bullet there

But the downside of people now working from home is that Saturday is now more likely to be used, probably doesn’t help much in terms of cheap advance fares but the unions need to give 14 days notice so maybe look to delay buying your train tickets till then

  8. For those of us of a certain age watching neighbours was an essential part of growing up in the slot just before the six o’clock news and these twos wedding was very much of its time. And almost time to say farewell

  9. From a pragmatic point of view if Reading sold out their allocation last season at £28 there’s nothing to be gained by selling them cheaper. Anyone who was going to buy food and drink at the ground would have done so anyway

Obviously it’s our away fans who’ll lose out although as Reading is one of our nearest fixtures it’ll likely sell out anyway
