  1. Last game before the international break. Doesn't make sense to change things now unless the medics say differently so keep it as it is, its working well.
  2. Two flights to Norwich and Burnley will have alleviated the travel a bit - cut out around 6 hours. But I agree that it is still a tough schedule, maybe a bit of rotation in the team.
  3. Last night was about "are we able to compete with these relegated Prem teams". Putting aside the manner of the goals conceded, the answer is a resounding yes. City went to Norwich, took the game to them, and dominated the match, not a lot of teams will do that. As such, all players get an 8/10 from me for their contribution to an enjoyable game. I hope we can do the same on Saturday - without the errors leading to conceding.
  4. Not if we keep giving goals away, it'll make no difference at all. James has been very good imo. Naismith - gave two goals away, not mixed for me, its getting to be a usual occurence.
  5. That really is a shit goal to concede. Outnumbered in our own area at a corner. Saw it a mile off. Not only game over, game thrown away.
  6. It really is a trade off. But when the cons outweigh the pros, its time to have a look at it. He needs to get his head up and launch it when necessary - or be not in the team.
  7. Unfortunately, their management team won't be as ill-informed or ignorant as those local journalists. They'll know the strengths and weaknesses inside out and it'll be a tough game. Even so, I'm more than hopeful that we can get something out of the game and wouldn't be surprised if we win. Wells and Conway (and later on Semenyo) pulling their CBs all over the place leaving space for Weimann and Scott. Looking forward to the game.
  8. Maybe the family section in the Lansdown stand, they have kids activities in the concourse pre-game, halftime I believe. Cheaper tickets as a family too. Downside - atmosphere, so your Mrs can be proven right.
  9. Decent loan, would have liked the next level up though. Good keeper with a future in the game.
  10. He's 1.88m Bentley is 1.93 O'Leary is 1.85 (according to Transfermarkt)
  11. Gas goalie keeping them in the game. Completed passes Ipswich 287, Arsewipes 85 They won't be so lucky second half if they keep this up..
  12. Farcical decision. We had an opportunity to come together as a football fraternity and coordinate a collective gesture to respect and celebrate her life. Hundreds of thousands at the same time across the country. What better gesture from football supporters.? But no, that was taken away from us by some old blokes in blazers. Stupid decision. Tonight I was in a bar in lanzarote, music on - until Charlie spoke. Deathly quiet while we all listened, few tears from some, then music back on and stuff the Westminster Abbey stuff. Point being, people will show their respect in their own way and don't need an old man in a blazer to take decisions for them. Way ott reaction from fa and efl.
  13. Facility is there to ignore this or any other topic.
  14. I believe the multiple convicted little thug is up before the beak early next year.
  15. I think they sat back virtually all game due to the results prior to today - 1-4, 0-5, 1-3.
  16. He may well be at a similar level in terms of skill, but he is a bit behind in most other respects imo.
  17. Yep, an off day. Loads of possession but no threat on goal. Top of the league though... Just to mention that Wilson, Pring, Bell, were ineffective and I wouldn't think their performances did them any favours.
  18. Putting on a return flight for Norwich would be an enormous help imo, with the following game being Burnley away.
  19. Even their thug manager has belatedly tried to manage expectations. I'm all for positivity from local reporters, but that has to be in context with the reality of the situation.
  20. A contrived appearance record which I don't recognise at all. I can't see anyone ever beating Atyeos record - legitimately
  21. Really liked the comments from Mark re the similarities from the Alan Dicks period to now. Its very pertinent, lots of young players coming through who are more than good enough. I hope it ends in the same way..
