  1. Good discussion, agree with others re the balanced views of Lez (didn't agree with everything which is fine) and also Ian's views (again, didn't agree with everything). But who is the little man who is trapped in a biscuit tin ?
  2. And also according to the gobby Gashead in the pub last night. Shrews came playing for a draw up against the mighty Rovers and were time wasting and falling over from the first minute. Apparently didn't have a shot on target (they had 5, TinPot had 2), and the keeper didn't have a save to make (TinPot keeper had 4, Shrews keeper had one). Another TinPot tit lying to big up his club and, in some misguided sense of reflected glory, himself. Rolled eyes all round..
  3. Shrews had 20 attempts on goal with 5 on target Tin pot had 9 attempts on goal with just 2 on target I thought I heard that thug Barton say Shrews scored with their only attempt on goal.... Tin Pots goalie had to make 4 saves whilst Shrews keeper had just one to make.
  4. When we played Man.Utd there were some Man.Utd fan interviews after the game and there were a couple with Bristol accents which made me laugh.
  5. Sam Fox would love to be all over Linda Lusardi...
  6. He made 5 changes and changed the formation. Wins 1-0 and immediately gets the elbow. Brutal.
  7. We've got Sykes and Semenyo back for the Huddersfield game, so a full strength squad with the exception of Kalas and Benarous. Williams should be able to manage midweek games now. For me, we start with Wells and give Semenyo the last 30. Starting line up; ...................Bentley ...Vyner Naismith Atkinson Sykes Scott Williams Dasilva ................Weiman ...........Conway Wells Semenyo on for Wells last 30, maybe Martin for Conway.
  8. They have portaloos ? How the hell do they get away with that ? And their cowardly thug of a manager has the audacity to say everything about the club "is Championship" A total shambles of a club - tinpot is an understatement. As to their supporters - they have much more than their fair share who regularly display moronic behaviour. Family club ? Having a laugh. I understand their shitty little ground is now back up to full capacity, so what was the attendance yesterday ? 8,570 Pathetic, grubby, little club.
  9. King did nothing wrong imo. All down to Naismiths wayward pass and Vyners weakness.
  10. I didn't see King do anything wrong, decent pass to Naismith who made an horrendous decision to give Vyner a pass which was never on.
  11. It is a decent point. But that defensive display was a shocker and a backward step imo.
  12. Naismith that passed to Vyner wasn't it ? Don't want to watch it again tbh.
  13. All over the place defensively again and weak defending of the corner. Big step backwards this game, against a very workmanlike, ordinary team who like to pump it into the box at every opportunity. Its not over, but I can see us shipping another one or two.
  14. Massengo needs to get his head up, playing far too safe, too many one touch backward passes. Bentley looks a bit shaky today. Team playing well going forward though - although defensively all over the place at times.
  15. What could possibly go wrong..
  16. I tend to agree. Although I don't think it will be easy. Bit like the Cardiff game, first half a bit of a slog to get to play our football, second half - do 'em. 2-1 win.
  17. Release clause - for a manager ! Mad.
  18. About right. Although I've never seen us lose there. Unfortunately, I'll be watching from Amsterdam(ish) so can't keep up the record.
  19. 17 year old unit. Very well thought of by management and first teamers. Next season...
  20. I thought that is what I said..
  21. Seems to me (very much on the outside looking in) that the correct decisions have been made both by the court and by Cardiff. The transfer was completed therefore Cardiff have to pay Nantes and Cardiff should go after those responsible for hiring the inadequate plane and pilot in order to recover their monies - they could have worded it a hell of a lot better though. No need for the threats, especially given the circumstances - classless. Its a shame that Cardiff didn't do this at the correct time as its just caused a load of angst and left a bad taste in the mouth.
  22. Are they really that stupid ?
  23. I agree, with the ball at his feet and with Weimann and Semenyo around him, he is very good, the later games last season proves it. We need to keep the ball on the deck. Playing out from the back/midfield is key to this, but we have a keeper whose first thought on receiving the ball is to lump it upfield as far from his goal as possible - he even launched the ball in the air to Dasilva twice against Cardiff. And back it comes... I feel sorry for Martin as he's labelled a "target man" but his game is much more than that.
  24. Alex Scott, Ben Acey, Tommy Backwell for instance - all were at Southampton academy before joining us.
