I don't think our defence is crap. Our defending is crap mind. Doesn't excuse Bentleys distribution - that just adds to the crap defending.

Deadly serious. Seems quite a few others saw it that way as well. How many mistakes did others make ? How many long aimless punts from others ?

Slow on the ball, keeps it a fraction too long. Good distribution when he's allowed the time, He's struggling at the moment, but it is only 3 games in.

How much longer will NP put up with Bentleys absolutely crap distribution ? He is one of the major reasons we always end up defending so deep imo. Hoofing it anywhere upfield to get the ball as far away from his goal as he can, only to see it come right back. They really need to drum it into him - use the ball, contribute to starting an attack, or at least a bit of possession. That was awful from him today.

He's been getting some stick on here (some deserved but its way ott). Today I thought he had a very good game overall and bailed out Naismith a couple of times. Him and Atkinson big positives today. Credit where its due.
  6. Indeed. Lucky to get the point. Not good, but it does give an indication of where we are at this time.
  7. Inevitable. can't sit back like this - we aint good enough for that.
  8. Just how crap is Bentleys distribution. Puts us under pressure.
  9. He has to do a lot more than amble around the pitch. Similar to recent games. Needs to step it up or he'll be hooked - Sykes to midfield, Tanner to RB.
  10. 10 seconds left, he needs to put it to their corner, but gives it straight to them in a dangerous position. Nearly threw the lead away there.
  11. The free version of Proton VPN is good and takes minimal time to download. Assuming yer dad doesn't mind paying £10 to Robins TV. (not that I would do such a thing of course).
  12. Yep, meant Rb/RWB, tried to edit and ended quoting myself !
  13. If McLean is on the left, we are in for a long afternoon imo.
  14. Agree, very mean spirited and unnecessary. As to The £5 subscription, it seems to me that those who pay up are subsiding those that don't. Should those who don't subscribe be limited in their input ? Say just 3 posts per day ? Or are there already limitations which I've not noticed ?
  15. George tanner will let him know what its like to be tackled.
  16. You can tell that after 2 and a bit games ? And after Cardiff lost to Reading last week ?
  17. I wouldn't underestimate the extra days rest. It could be a factor late on, five subs helps of course. Strange keeping Weimann on, but he got a goal to keep his run going and confidence high. I'll go for a 2-1 win with Weimann and Martin scoring.
  18. Assume Weimann will play a bit deeper. King and Massengo an interesting pairing.. 3-4-1-2
  19. Bit more tempo that the Exeter goal tbf, theirs was like a training game or pre-season. When we played Cheltenham a few weeks ago I thought they were very passive, especially compared to FGR, Portsmouth, Plymouth, and Exeter. They looked the same in that clip - mind you, at 0-6 down they'd have given up by then anyway.
  20. Probably more of a team for Saturday given the need to rest some, but a box midfield with King and Massengo holding, Scott and Sykes running at them, supporting Weimann. ....................Bentley .......Klose Naismith Atkinson Wilson King Williams Dasilva ..................Scott Sykes .....................Weimann
  21. In normal times I would agree 100%. But we are one injury away from a midfield crisis with James out for "3-4 weeks" (we all know what that means). We need him, if only as a body on the field. Not a fan of HNM these days, he's technically very good, but a bit of a show pony who hasn't progressed in the last 3 years - but we need him at this time.
