Couple of times Conway pointing to where he wants it only for the player to hold on to it. Pretty scrappy game, no control in midfield for either side, kick and rush.

Should be noted that Coventry have played one game at home and six away, but even so the results have been terrible and they've not won a game yet. They are in trouble which they'll find it difficult to recover from imo. Hull are struggling at the moment, losing five of the last six games and conceding 18 goals in those six games, on a bit of a decline. Cardiff also looking over their shoulders. Going up is a bit clearer imo with Burnley and Sheffield United a shoe in for me, but loads of options for the other place with Norwich probably favourites. WBA should also be up there. Bit of a cop out but, at this time, I'd say Sheffield, Burnley, and Norwich going up (and all three to come back down). Coventry, Hull, and Cardiff for the drop. City have too many individual costly errors in them and have a very leaky defence, we are also really lacking in quality in some areas (the Burnley game was evidence of that) and we don't have the squad depth to make a challenge for the top 6 imo, although a top half finish shouldn't be beyond us and would represent real progress.

We've been dreadful at throw-ins for a long time. I was hoping we'd improve this season, but when I saw Atkinson taking one against Sunderland in their half, with Naismith thinking it would be a good idea to try to receive the throw, it was a forlorn hope. Two centre backs out of position FFS, schoolboy stuff. Seconds later we concede with everyone blaming Vyner who was left defending on his own. Yesterday I noted Vyner taking throws with no one covering his position. Again, schoolboy stuff.

They really are stupid; "2 poor teams really. We could have 3 or 4 more ourselves. Don't really remember them having many good chances to score than the 6 that went in."

I think they'll be looking at the performances rather than just the result.

Those Bet Fred odds are always a bit tight. Seen odds of up to 9/2 for a City win. 4/1 on Paddy Power. 3/1 the draw - seems a decent price, 1-1 draw is around 8/1.
