Burgzorg
Spoke to a couple Huddersfield fans on the walk back to the car I said who's your number 7 they said burgzorg and that he was hit and miss a player that causes arguments within the fan base he's either on or off,But today he definitely looked up for it and showed pace to cause us problems.

A little bit I can add, the club are still waiting for confirmation on how the new kick off days and times will impact us, but we are set to get an additional £2.5m from the deal - which clearly makes up for lost attendances
But the assumption is a side will be live at least 20 times over the season
Surely Ashton gate is going to see more empty seats,The club might get the extra £2.5 but who's going to pay on the day at £30 when you can just watch it on TV it just doesn't make sense. This is one of many reasons I'm not renewing I'm not risking wasting money because I can't get to games especially a Monday night.

Free world but if you're not delighted with last night, an improving young team, a club stable in the table and never looking like a relegation fight then perhaps it is time to say farewell. Best wishes
Farewell where you off to anywhere nice..

Couldnt get to the Gate so Robins TV did the trick. Leroy loves the players and club, particularly Liam. What a great series of opinions about our coach- might be worth that seagul from Weston taking a listen!! I bet a lot of other recent moaners wont be on here tonight.
With a transfer window to come, with Zak our oldest player starting at 26 and with inspired subs like Liam has made tonight i reckon all our season ticket holders will be delighted and encouraging their mates too join up as well for August; it isnt long now. Up the City!
I won't be renewing and no I'm not delighted, Winning games when the pressure is off is hardly the motivation I need to renew.

They know, that's why those of us who still haven't renewed are being bombarded with emails.
They can keep trying

Well worth both entitled to an opinion.. personally I’m fed up with him telling us how he is teaching our players how to play the game, and how they are or are not grasping his behavioural requirements.. it’s nonsense. Let’s see if we can keep another three clean sheets and turn in a couple of decent performances over the next few games. He’s bluffing..
Yep he's mr Billy bull******* I don't listen to him and your right I personally think he's bluffing his way through the job.

Definitely sounds like a powerful foreign striker is the target.

Dunno, but i wouldnt be at all surprised if he scores at least one against us. Its 2 teams of average/ below average with one player who is having the season of his life.
Have a feeling he will be right up for it tomorrow night

I'm not sure what you expect Phants? You want posters to post positive things when those positive things are lacking?
Its only been a recent thing where I've stopped enjoying going. Probably since about November time.
You must have seen all the posts from people who have said they are not renewing. I'm not the only one who's not enjoying this.
I know what your saying and there isn't anything positive about the club at the minute,My season ended when they made the change and when I seen who was linked to the job I just couldn't believe it. I've not liked the appointment of manning since day one and that's not going to change.

Recent results suggest otherwise
Not sure a result against Plymouth is anything to get flattered about under foster they offered nothing at all defensive and with Leicester if it wasn't for there poor form and vardys strange and unusual missed chances we would of been dead a buried. But it in our case we had a chance and finished it.Again today he swapped Conway and wells why do a straight swap change it make things happen unfortunately he didn't. Nothings changed for me still doesn't feel right that he's sitting and coaching our club.
Least he had plenty of time to play champ manager on the way home.

I absolutely despise how Manning sets us up to not lose. To protect his own record and position. What we witnessed today was not what fans want to see.
Exactly!! Blackburn didn't do to bad up there.

What game was Manning watching? He's pleased with our grit, fight determination and us showing a different side to us today.
We only didn't get battered 5 nil because of Max so how can he say we showed grit, fight and determination? The only player to have shown that was Max.
Talks out his arse still can't bring myself to listen. Max was excellent he definitely got a point for us today we would of been out of that game by half time.
-
Max is saving us again in that first half some great saves.

Well he did say that he came from the same school as our head coach so no surprises really..
That school must of been dull.

You’ve misread the article.
Warnock is claiming he’s retired, not Pearson.
With a place in Devon if he’s well enough then he seems a very smart choice for them to me.
Sorry I have mis-read it and Pearsons agent is obviously active,I was also thinking it was a perfect location for him and ideal job.
-
But dismissed it by saying he's retired maybe his agent still active or he's genuinely retired from management.

He has run his race for sure, the final straw (for me) came between say July 2023 and November 2023. His son and Tinnion are less competent still and never will be fit for their current roles IMO.
Mostly agree on the pitch albeit we perhaps had one or two tilts at the playoffs, tempered by SL backing the wrong horse persistently well through a lot of his time here.
My thing here more, Fans Parliament..club engagement..definitely seems to have worsened in addition to what you say.
Agreed on his son and tinnion it really isn't a good look is it.Another thing from the period we flirted with the play offs basically under Johnson what was the figure of players turn over during that 4 year period wasnt it something stupid around 70 players signed? I'm not sure on the exact timings but fan engagement and fans parliament certainly went out the window with the Bristol sport set up it just gradually faded but also the arena project which he really doesn't give much feed back on or at all. I definitely look at the bigger picture which really isn't that great. And that's just from the football clubs perspective.

Worth a listen to this. Feels a different club, a different SL really.
Fans Parliament, Fan Engagement etc.
After the O'Driscoll sacking..around the time Cotts came in. He does seem more distant now, Fan Engagement does seem stripped back set against a decade ago.
He was on about new starts in all that but what's changed apart from him being none existent,You can say the play off final which we came very close but since then we've had what I'd say one excellent season under cotts everything else is bang average,With all the investment it really is poor and now the clubs even more distant from us fans. Time for him to move on.

It seems bird is much more of a james type player, so it would seem possible that he will be moved on…. It would seem likely that james is one of the higher earners too, and is obviously in his 30s now, its a big spot in the squad to fill, and bird has to be up to it, which they presumably think he is.
ive never been a great fan of williams, not great technically, little goal threat, and is in there to provide the aggression. He obviously had a good month or 2 but is back on the bench now. Injuries have blighted him, and is probably a top earner too, i wouldnt be upset if he was moved on.
presumably king is as good as gone.
The worrying part is bird "quote me if I'm wrong" has had two injuries this season let's hope it doesn't continue in the next.

Because we are a ground now full of day trippers plus the game was crap hardly surprising.
