Just listened to it, what a fantastic episode this evening.

Piercy and Owers were brilliant and the presenter did well too TBF. Owers and Piercy just oozed credibility throughout and created superb, insightful, honest debate.

    The best SOTC since GT.

Based on what I heard Manning really hasn’t got long left if things stay as they are.

It was and that's what's needed none of this tippy tappy everything is Rosey at Bristol city in fact it brings out the truth of what's gone on. About time proper discussion started last week with tinnion and his interview.

I did not hear the earlier comment on the show where someone, the chap Gay it seems, said that Manning has 8 games to save the show. What does that mean? Does he have to win some games? Play well, so performances? Get a certain number of points?

Also, based on what I read here, that person is being fed information directly, allegedly, from Tinnion. If that is the case, then Tinnion needs cautioning,  as that sort of information is far too sensitive and important to be divulging outside of the club management circles. That undermines Manning further (and I am someone who wants him gone) and is unprofessional. What if the players get to hear that?

Nothing new from tinnion to have the run of the mouth is it.

Not touchy, but I’m not paying POTD for every game.
Yes, I am unhappy with the current state of affairs but for myself, actually I think it’s the players that will feel the effects of fans responses well before the club do.

If the players feel it then the club will to by results,Fair play to you if you renew and that's entirely your decision but we should all remember it's our club as well not just Mr Lansdowns. I'm not renewing because both me and my son feel it's the best way our own little way of saying we are not happy in fact angry, I'm not investing my money to those making bad decisions.

As far as I am concerned, if you buy a season ticket, then you are facilitating the way that the club is being run.

Crying outrage and then lining the pockets of the perpetrators just doesn't correlate for me.

People who think that they have a greater right to complain because they are a season ticket holder, in this situation is in my opinion, bonkers.

They are basically turkeys voting for Christmas.

    It's their perogative, though.

Edit: Not necessarily referring to you, as I don't know your opinion of the situation.

    👌👍

Owers stated the infrastructure is in place when comparing us with clubs who have gone past us. He was referring to bricks and mortar (stadium and training ground). That got me thinking, it’s not bricks and mortar that get you to the prem (Luton, Bmouth, Burnley…). Is our football decision-making infrastructure anywhere near good enough? We were compared with the likes of Brighton…. Tony Bloom or SL or JL? Paul Barber or BT? De Zerbi / Graham Potter or LM???? Despite all his investment, SL is still doing it on the cheap/employing mates/family when it comes to leadership roles.

Plus those clubs haven't got a Bristol sport franchise hanging over there heads with rugby and basketball,That's the difference if he solely concentrated on Bristol city football club instead of being Barcelona then maybe just maybe we would of made it by now.

Absolutely. Sadly there is unlikely to be any improvement on that front in the near future though.

Then we need to make it happen it's ridiculous, The club can't continue like this, It's mistake after mistake and back in October it was the biggest and most unprofessional mistake they've made after years of the same old bad decisions.

Yeah, he's bound to have more of a neutral view. In fairness, he did call out the clubs porkies on why Nige was sacked, which could land him in some hot water. So fair play to him.

They've brought it on themselves be more professional and they won't be called out.

Imagine going to the Hippodrome to watch an average cast act out a badly written play with a crap director.

Now imagine going to watch it at least 23 times.

    No. Nor would I !!

Run out of likes but 👌 to you for that.

Absolutely staggering this needs to explained (again).

’cult of Nige’ etc absolute horseshit from people who have no actual defence of the current manager.

Do we have a current manager?

Nope. Withdrawing your money from a club that has been providing a poor product of entertainment for over 5 years now is totally fair enough. Blindly renewing season after season whilst being unhappy with what is on offer is just silly.

Withdrawing support as a fan? No chance. Still want the club to do well, but if you don't like what you're seeing and how the club is being managed then show some courage of your convictions and walk away until things change.

    Exactly 👌

Well said... I've mentioned this a couple of times before. This Is the key to all our problems. Noone who will or has responsibility to start to look at how we build a new structure...mainly because they will be doing themselves out of a job!! Makes me want to scream  but there is a brick wall we have to overcome!! it makes me very angry and sad the ridiculous state this club is in.

This is the main reason I won't be renewing... like so many others after giving decades of support will it seems be doing the same. I'll be back though when they decide to grow up and be a proper board designed to run a club fit for the modern day challenges.

I will pay the £40 difference when I our club is run properly I couldn't care if we beat Leicester next game it changes nothing and I'm like you until this club is run more professionally then they can forget me renewing. Keep laughing Bristol sport because we mean it this time.

Reading fans miss John Madjeski but I think we’ve all seen enough now of poor football decisions. Something has to change, the fan relation with club seems broken.

Trouble is I don't think we will miss Lansdown I think we as fans don't have that connection it's been broken I feel since the set up of Bristol sport.

MyselAf and 3 others will not be renewing for exactly this, it's with an extremely heavy heart this decision has been taken.

Supported since late 70s and season ticket for 20 years, I will continue to support from afar but not lining their pockets in the assumption I'm happy with the running and direction of the club.

The life has slowly been sucked out the club and matchday experience is dreadful, no excitement or buzz, waking up Sat buzzing to get down the gate, seeing mates, few beers and enjoying the footy, it's frankly become a chore, and an expensive one at that.

I know my protest will not hit them hard but it's my only option of "two fingers" to the current hierarchy 😡🤬

Two of us not renewing the owners need to wake up this has been coming for a long time it hurts like hell but in our own way of protest.

Done absolutely miles better since we made this decision, haven’t we?

All those who regularly slagged him off must be mystified that he’s now a regular in a top five squad.

Thought he just “ran around” & pointed?

Top player that we have nowhere near replaced & I’m sure would have created & scored a few if we’d kept him on.

Top quality set back a little through a couple of annoying injuries but his movement and energy levels are prem quality.
