Can see HNM getting his first City goal today. Looking well up for it
Kinda worries when a player ups his game sometimes to gain interest but just hope that's not the case i agreed he's looking confident.

Glad to have Lansdown, but these figures are by and large his fault.
We had a really trim quality squad that needed two or three additions. Then he let Johnson and Ashton take him to the cleaners and treble the wage bill. This was always coming.
Yep agreed never sustainable but look at what Pearson is doing now and the work he's putting in around the club..It's more than signing loads of players and increasing the wage, What spill Ashton was saying the club was never ready for the premier League no where near and also COVID has hit the club hard.

LJ throws players under the bus, Pearson throws them off it.
I know which I prefer.
Let's not have a bus it's far safer

Yep, I don’t get the argument that you must eat from the vendors at the game.
Don't understand why people pay it. I often bring something from home then I'm not paying out anymore than I need to.. Foods not great and prices Not great either.. So agree I don't get the argument why they have to eat from the vendors either.

I was at a game in Germany a few weeks ago with a 17,500 crowd. Everyone's Covid status and ID carefully checked before entering. Worked fine and it took no longer to enter the ground than normal.
Yes but we are English we all know Germans do it better and we love to queue.. Won't be for me I'm afraid, It's a drag going to footie as it is at the minute and now this.

(Not suggesting you are) but I struggle to understand why people would look for loop holes in this.
Setting up the NHS app to show your double vaccination takes a matter of minutes and is simple.
If you don't have a phone you can get a paper covid passport (I believe). Simple.
If you can't have the jabs for medical reasons then I'm sure there must be some excemptions in place (rightly).
If you're one of those that are anti vax or just couldn't be bothered to get vaccinated then **** em. No sympathy.
The only thing that is more of a concern or unknown to me is how the club is going to be set up ready to check EVERYONE and whether staff actually will.
So they will check all 17,000 people can't see that happening it will be random so to me its all bloody pointless.

Don’t think it was anywhere near 20,000
If it was nearer 20k I think it could of been a disaster and pretty serious situation so 2000 is about right.

Lansdowns time at this club is up?? Have you really thought through what you have just said? Despite his failings, and at times, poor appointments.....have you any idea where we would be without Steve Lansdown? Clue - It would not be the Championship?
Yes I have and I understand what your saying and yes we wouldn't be anywhere near the championship without his backing but I still think something needs to change either that he gets more backing or investment into the club because if its the ambition to get to the premier League we won't get it as the structure currently stands.

I don't mind losing games that's part and parcel of football but it's how we are so inconsistent the players turn up when they feel like it and i can't support that. These players might have abilities so why can't they perform consistently.. Mental attitude I should imagine.

Agreed, but i think the problems also run a hell of a lot higher.
I think personally Lansdowns time at this club is up but as Pearson said these are perfessional footballers they need to go out and perform but there not and have not for too many seasons now.
-
I agree this team is very inconsistent and the players need shipping out.

Massengo just stands and watches McGoldrick run in to space. I cannot see what he does except run around a lot. What a bloody shower.
Always said it what does he bring to our midfield yes he's young but again another in consistent player but we always seem to lose shape with him in it.

Well has been on 20 minutes yet he is the problem!? Mental fan base

Thought that game was ours today that's a massive shift in performance. We look so much better with O'Leary in the side starting play at the back and not doing a Bentley lumping it up field, Benarous,Scott,Pring brilliant. O'dowda should taken his chance again he was frustrating Going into extra time think we faded with the subs being made,Overall I think things are moving forward and Pearson managing players in a professional way.
