Getting boring now isn’t it.
how many times have we heard this from Pearson. But nothing changes.
who is he taking about this time. Bentley? Baker? Martin? Weimann? Dasilva?
Will he be dropping any of these from the squad completely? It’s all empty threats and is boring me.
Pearson needs to stop saying shit like this and actually start doing something about it. Like giving his players the confidence to be able to keep hold of the football and not concede oodles of possession so late in games.Simple fact the players that he's inherited just ain't good enough and he's limited to what he can do.. Every player signed before Pearson needs to go and I'm not joking it needs a massive change because I think several players think it's an easy life at this football club.
Look at the quality Pearson has brought in just think what he can do if he had money.

Change the whole pre match routine- as now it’s the same tunes, videos, Downsy etc, it’s de ja vue
Freshen it up, might make a difference - might sound a bit leftfield, but this little bit of change might help change the mentality slightly enough just to get the win
Agree with this 100%

Yes but they dont have the budget to work with that LJ or even Holden had. In order to have a tough team we need tough players and we dont have enough of them thanks to previous regimes.
Exactly this

Still can't believe it honestly what is it with us at home ...

Never heard of parachute payments?
They cheated FFP to get to the Prem based on their dodgy Russian money, trust me, it makes a lot of difference.
Doesn't help that our club has had money wasted we've not had people at the club that could use the money wisely.. To many average players signed and we are still stuck with them and we now have limited money to sign more quality.. It certainly does make a difference and theyve used the money to there advantage.

Really really disappointing for him and the team. Hope it is not too serious. COYR
His career with us has been doomed from the start,He's a cracking player and would love to see him settle down and get a decent run of games, But I just can't see him being a regular and one that stays fit for any length of time.

Driving the kids to swimming lessons tonight having to suffer "Toon" fans saying how hard done by they've been over the last 14 years and how they'll be in the Champions league final in 10 years time.
Sounds like buying a trophy is really easy
All the money in the world at Man city and they still can't win it.. Not sure what planet these toon fans are on.

So, would we rather have Smodicz back or the three points?
I wouldnt of let him go, but this shows the difference in our squad now we don't fall down and die..In the past we would of just folded 3 points in the bag!!!

Signing 19 players is extraordinary. How can they afford that!?
That's a lot of hamstrings

Tbf- they will need all 19 for when the “back on the grass next week” injuries kick in.
Hysterical how they’ve all fallen for his “open and honest” communication.
if they’re 15th in November, let’s see how “open and honest” he is!
Injuries already have kicked in for them .. Paul cooks hoping over international break they get injured players back( whether that's long term injury or recent this season) and the squad trains hard

He's a C**k and I really dont care

I think both clubs are in the right ball-park, he’s in that £3-5m range imho. Few appearance based add-ons and a sell-on and I think you have to take it.
I think there are players out there that will suit Nige’s team system better.
Whos negotiating this would Ashton still be in this process? It does seem around the right figure and if we can get add-ons and a sell on it would be good business.. It's how we put that money back in the team and now hopefully Pearson can add quality if this happens.

I disagree. This is how bad it has been:
Sessegnon - Injured for 23 games
Dasilva - Injured for 34 games (played carrying an injury too)
Mawson - Injured for 34 games
Baker - Injured for 43 games
Weimann - Injured for 38 games
Paterson - Injured for 26 games ( + clearly not fit in the 6 games between those two spells out)
O'Dowda - Injured for 26 games
Williams - Injured for 45 games
Walsh - Injured for 43 games
Brunt - Injured for 29 games
Martin - Injured for 20 games
Rowe - Injured for 13 games
Pring - Injured for 22 games
Adelakun - Injured for 20 games
Going by that how can players even begin to perform consistently and gain confidence being out for that amount of games.. Seriously though that is shocking.

Simpson coming on and looking for experience and yes tanner has made a mistake but it could lead to another.. Does make sense. We where never going to get anything from this game anyway no where near good enough.
