Oxford probably a bigger club than the Gas.
...and Crewe are more respected. There may be a cloud over Gradi but their historic development of young players is way ahead of Rovers.

Have Rovers asked to extend the current temporary training venue arrangement till May 2021 because construction of the four male changing rooms, four female changing rooms and lounge bar is running behind schedule ?
Is it just a training ground for mixed 5 a side games (goalies have to come ready changed

That would mean they would only be locking out 30,000 at the Mem.
Seriously though, if that applies to all the leagues Rovers would be in big trouble opening the stadium etc for 2,000 attendances

If SG was our manager, what do you suppose the new/floating supporter recruitment rate will be up Gloucester Rd?
can’t see any incomers/students going to them now, a star Manager in BS3 would kills them off IMHO

As someone who has worked and lived in Wycombe in the past, it’s nice to see a team playing in “da famous quarterrz” get some success at last.

I do find the antagonism towards Aston Villa slightly amusing.
It is because we have had a number of Villa fans on here who have taken the polar opposite tack to the one you have taken. We ave had to read posts from some arrogant and, frankly, salty Villa fans, which gave some of us an impression of what your club was like. If more had been like you...

This thread gets infinitely busier when we’re losing. Sad really
Wouldn’t know, not old enough to remember when we were winning

We are playing welll, but i fear this has got 1-0 Forest written all over it.
Worth noting they have scored 2/3 of their goals in the second half of games.
That’s the spirit @eric04

What’s the difference between the Bristol Rovers supporters and a yoghurt?
Given enough time, a yoghurt will get a culture

Good news for the Rovers' finances and all joking aside.
With yesterday's announcement about League 2 finishing as it stands; next season (whenever that is) Rovers get derbies against Plymouth & Swindon.
Exeter & Cheltenham will be in the pay offs, so maybe a third derby game as well.
Yes, perhaps three games next year where the crowd will be up to 8,000. Don't understand why they lock 20,000 out when there is usually only 6,500 INSIDE. Seems daft

They would just fold and we’d carry on as the one team in Bristol innit, still as Bristol City FC
If that did happen, would people get less prickly when outsiders called us “Bristol”?

You are being supported.
How much do you think front line care staff e.g. auxiliary nurses, care assistants, support workers are paid to possibly put their lives at risk.. Try less than you will get as a damp proofer to stay at home.
IF you are self employed, you don’t work, you don’t eat. My wife and I have spent the last five years trying to build two businesses. No weekends off, no Bank holidays except Christmas Day. That has all gone now. Government has closed our businesses (correct decision, I’m not arguing it). As things stand, we will get £93/week (in 5 weeks time) whilst my neighbour who has a lovely Range Rover and gets his salary and paid holidays every month, gets 80% of his salary.
Of course we realise we need to stay in, but how are we supposed to live? With mortgage, bills and Council Tax we cannot exist on 2 x £93. What are we to do?

No one is saying you cant travel to Blackburn, Harry. Just that you wont see much when you get there.
It’s the traveling they are worried about. Not so much the actual game attendance but the masses on buses and trains to get there they are worried about.

There wuz 9,000,000 loyal true and prowed when we wuz at Wembolee for our glorious promotion out of Division 5. ***y went there for the Premier League playoff and took NUN!
They wuz probs all in Jersey avoiding tax with Lansdown.

I now think we will win the playoffs.
Getting promoted to the Premier League via a glorious victory at Wembley with NONE OF US there to witness ANY of it, feels like a very ‘Bristol City’ thing to do

Well we have a chance to go second but it would involve us winning by 7 goals and Fulham losing by 5....
Well... Level points with second.

That really is Olympic standard delusion. We have a chance to go second today, the arena plans were announced just days ago and the Bears are having their best season in living memory. Why on Earth would SL bail now?

Hard to knock that, in fairness.
Away to Tranmere, on a Tuesday night, in February. Without having won a game this Decade...!You’ll probably find most of them live and work in Liverpool or Manchester anyway.
