CL from BS8 by any chance?
-
He'll be getting more apologies than Nigel Farage.......
-
Looking like no-one else knows where you live, but a lot of us know where PD lives. Absolute *** up nevertheless.
-
Stockwood address and a P for me too. I think you're right - we've all got the same person
-
same for me. Weirdly, if you log into Bristol Sport then the details are all correct.

Wow, what a shock. Big big name and a great player when I was young. RIP.

It shouldn’t come to it, I agree, but it seems that they can. There’s no obligation to accept cash, any more than there’s an obligation to accept card payments. It’s up to the seller.

It doesn’t have a Row A yet!

Kalas - Signed for Schalke04
italian dave replied to Kid in the Riot's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
If Kalas’s injury record is a concern then - in terms of proportion of time here spent out injured - neither Naismith nor Atkinson inspire much more confidence. But agree 100% on Vyner. I don’t buy this ‘commit or your out’ line but it seems to be emerging as a bit of a theme at the club, and NP says things to suggest it’s his view. Which potentially leaves us with Vyner in that position quite soon. And I’m not sure he’ll rush to sign. I think he will - quite justifiably - want to wait and see and keep his options open. And then, suddenly, an injury and a suspension and we’re back to looking short. -
Based on guesswork? You don’t say?! ? Seriously, one of the reasons they do it is because it generates interest and gets their magazine talked about. And it works. And although I recognise the predictions for what they are, I quite enjoy reading those accompanying pieces where a fan of the club talks about their expectations, about who else they see doing well, about other teams they like visiting and so on.

Random question - car seat laws in france
italian dave replied to citywest30's topic in General Chat
Me neither! But I wasn’t sure whether that was just because I have no idea at all about child seats! I wondered if what they call a “child seat” is what you call a “proper car seat” and “booster seat” what you call a “backless booster seat” - and then it’s just down to the weight of the child? Rather than age. But I have no experience I’m afraid! When I was little we just got chucked in the back of a van! Enjoy the holiday! -
Random question - car seat laws in france
italian dave replied to citywest30's topic in General Chat
Don’t know if these help. The French one looks very technical! But maybe more thorough. The RAC one seems to be a summary (. You have to scroll down a bit to get to the section on child seats) https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F628?lang=en https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/travel/country/france/ -
Whatever Will Be Will Be……..Doris Day

I’m not volunteering, but sounds like this might be something for someone who’s going to the open day next week to ask about? There’ll be people there to answer questions about digital ticketing.

Alex Scott - £25m to Bournemouth- Confirmed

Oh, I don’t know. Having no idea what’s going on has got 126 pages worth of attention here, and still counting. ? -
They’re waiting to see whether you ring up on your smartphone to chase them!

italian dave replied to Kid in the Riot's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
OK…not exactly the same, but just trying to be glass half full, that’s all ? Seriously, as I said, I have those concerns. But at the end of the day he’s a professional, and he’s a very good defender. I certainly wouldn’t be sorry if he stayed. -
Cul De Sac…..Van Morrison

I think you’re an old luddite……but that did make me laugh ?

Kalas - Signed for Schalke04

I know what you mean….but then I think of Andi Weimann. Who did pretty much the same, and came back to score a hatful of goals. -

And yet it’s Harry Dullmoan that’s the most common mis-spelling by far! -

Good post Downend. I think covid was another factor in the collapse of the model - but otherwise, yes agree. You said you’d copied and pasted from word - did you miss a bit at the end? Be interested to see what followed. -
A not really Swindon Town friendly match-day thread
italian dave replied to Jerseybean's topic in Football Chat
My worry is that City’s pre season results tend to be a bit like the pre match bit of the matchday thread on OTIB When everyone’s moaning about the team it usually means we go on and get a good result. And when everyone’s happy with the starting XI they let us down. Likewise, a good pre-season usually proves a false hope for a dismal season, whilst after a disastrous pre season we generally do well. On the other hand…..we’re doing things differently now ??
