Report from Oxford Utd ...
Despite winning the match 3 - 1 the Gas still sound and look 100% Tin Pot...
Signed off with a lovely photo of one of their beautiful tented stadium 'grand stands' - must be bloody awful enduring a couple of hours in a tent in this weather!
http://www.rageonline.co.uk/fans-view-2019-20-no-8-bristol-rovers-away/
PS .. be sure to check out the photo of the 'stand' at the end of the report! (I somehow didn't think it would actually be as bad as it is.. ffs.. Overpriced too!

Why didn’t we merge with rovers in 1982?
Things were bad enough already, why make it worse?

We've been in existence since 1883, and in that 136 years, not a single Rovers player has shat on us from as great a height as Taylor has.
The City legend Chris Crowe came pretty close in the 60's though from the sky's above Eastville….

A40 Somerset? … (or similar) a neighbour had one when I was a kid..
My 1st funnily enough was also an Austin A40 (farina) in Red n Black (paid £40 for it in '73 was already an old banger but I loved it!)
(Austin loved their 'counties' though, Devons, Dorsets, Somersets, and gawd knows what others, then the University towns, Austin's Cambridges, Morris's Oxfords Winchesters etc... British car industry brilliant for all its faults)

Bristol Post drops the dead donkey.
Local hack "boss, I've got a lead on another R*vers stadium, smells like BS, or rotten fruit "
Editor "run it on the front page, those deluded gas heads will lap it up for days"
...smells like BS ? what does Bristol Sport smell of by the way?
Filthy Lucre ??

Sagchat...
I bet One Turd In Bristol has lit up like a ******* Christmas tree with panicking shitheads with all this going on!
Probably referring to the Balloon Fiesta and loads of happy Reds enjoying a glass or two of cider, a nice picnic with family and friends at Ashton Court...
No doubt 'predictive text' scuppered his post and altered 'picnicking' to 'panicking' no worries Mr Gashead, we knew what you meant, predictive text messes with the best of us sometimes..

Will the tradesman`s entrance have to be opened at the Man Bar tonight due to the amount of patrons trying to access it post match?
Doubt it, Irene's been suffering with a particularly painful bout of haemorrhoids lately by all accounts..

Good on them, I had no idea that their improvement grant application had been accepted, let alone the new facilities up and running already. With state of the art removable roof too? Wow that IS impressive. These things usually take time.
A great way to 'get rid of the Gas' as well!
-
Wow! wot about this heat then?
Naturally with the facilities at The Gate everyone's remained pretty cool... COYR's always cool!
Meanwhile..
Reports from Horfield say the heat has been extremely in tents at The Mem..... Naturally!!

The cast and new title - oh and it has since been confirmed it WON'T be called Shatterhand
Terrible news for T ' Pau as it was thought the theme tune and fight scene sound effects would be perfect for them after their early success with the classic China In Your Hand ..

Ah Springfield Park, standing on t’bank. We arrived in Wigan and went to visit Wigan Pier and buy Uncle Joe’s Mintballs, had a couple of pints in a nearby pub then saw a couple of locals who were obviously heading to the ground so we offered them a lift in return for directions. I guess I’ve not thought of that for more than thirty years! Strange the crap we’ve got lodged in our memories.
(Just looked it up - 23 April 1985, 2-2 Attendance 2,423!)
so you offered them a lift, then no doubt you went on to 'give them one' !

If they do end up 'casting their net' how does that affect you?
