Is Anime just a posh word for cartoon? Genuine question. It’s all animation, no?
just a genre within animation.
I think Marine Boy was more 'economically made' than intentionally 'Anime'

Agree re Ineos. I think stage wins is their target this year.
Vingy & Pog to battle it out for 1 & 2.
Should be decent battle for the final podium place - Be interesting to see what Carapaz can do now he’s released from the Ineos shackles and has a pretty decent EF team around him. Can Gaudu go one better than last year for the French? Will Mas ever step out of his comfort zone. Could Hindley be consistent enough to challenge the podium? Wide open for 3rd place for me.
As for Cav, can’t see it myself. His team are not built around him and there’s stronger sprinters and sprint teams. In the early season stuff, aside from a couple of stages at the Giro he was never in the mix and often found himself well down the peloton coming into the crucial last K.
Will also be interesting to see Wout and Van Der Poel potentially battling each other for stages.
Looking forward to this one.
re Cav - i don't think anyone saw that final Giro stage happening - he thrashed the opposition then. he will be well fired up, i think the 3 rd stage is one where he will have his eyes on it - just hope he doesn't crash out like in Yorkshire when he tried too hard

In truth, our kits started taking a wrong turn as soon as we got rid of our old badge in 2019.
The training kits are pathetic, the new 'robin' they have introduced is as tinpot as i've ever seen and the blue training kit is the cherry on the cake. It's nothing but an attempt by the club to get fans to buy more new merchandise, but it's being done on the cheap by them and the quality being put out is way below standard.
Why can't this club just keep things simple with one badge throughout (like Preston have done). Get rid of these pinstripes. I know it's a nod to 89/90, but we already did that in 2017/18 and that was a decent kit.
Just keep it Red shirts, white shorts, red/white socks and most fans are happy.
I agree 100%
“Design is the silent ambassador of your brand.” - Paul Rand.
Lets just think on the 'blue' thing for a moment.
We are historically Red and white, always have been - thats our core identity in football terms.
Blue is and has always been associated with our arch rivals.
With the inclusion of Rugby at the ground, Blue as a visual theme has snuck in, but there is obv clear water between us as teams - even allowing for this Bristol Sport umberella Brand stuff.
Managing the City 'brand' and identity surely means identifying what Fans recognise as sacrosanct, and that is keeping Blue out of the equation ? (and I appreciate that there will be some fans that are 'meh!' about this, but why don't we run a poll to see how it plays out?)
I know football is tainted with business nowadays, Cardiff bluebirds/Red Dragons is an example of that, plus the endless renaming of stands - replacing history with commercial sponsorship
But there is no reasonable reason for introducing Blue as part of our kit, it just makes a mockery of our identity over a very long period of history.
If our design team aren't capable of designing training wear and kit that uses our identity then they should be replaced. ********.
it's quite simple.

Do we know Jon Lansdown has designed any of this? Is he really there drawing this stuff himself or whatever? Would the chairman really be signing off designs of the training kit logo?
I know he has some media company or whatever, but that's very different from designing football shirts etc. right?
I would be equally surprised and horrified if he were actually sitting, tongue sticking out and doodling away, but surely he IS responsible for signing this shite off? or does the Teflon gene run in the family?
the lack of coherent branding is pretty awful

What I can't understand about this stuff is there is absolutely no consistency in branding (basic stuff)
we had redveloped the main club badge to presumably secure copyright on it and within no time Jonny 'Crayons' Lansdown is pushing out that daft 'new' robin design. (the one that tries to make an effing Robin look like a hawk ...)and the old (new) logo is gone??
The O'Neils shirts just copied shamelessly from the Hirerite design - it's not a 'nod to the past' when it's just a copy.
The amateurish misuse of the serifed font on the on screen materials last season was another idiotic choice
Now this?
It's Blue.....
presumably we've crossed the rubicon on this then?
Not a bit of blue, but blue - so our core branding of having a red and white strip is ignored?, the logo is ignored? another 'oooh look at this ' font is used.
Please help me understand. is it generational? am i getting old?
or is Jon Lansdown absolutely terrible at design and should NOT be let anywhere near the club...

I know of them because my older cousins gave me some 1960s Blue Peter annuals when I was a kid, and they featured Bleep & Booster cartoon strips.
Peter Hawkins did the voices, he was also Captain Pugwash!

Don’t suppose anyone on here either is one, or can recommend one locally? One that would do a report on some work being done on a house. It’s fairly urgent as well.
i contacted these guys before and found them helpful. in the end i didn't need them, but found them approachable and helpful.

Early Gerry Anderson. Pretty sure they would have originally been B&W but these clips have been colourised.
I used to drive my mum mad by turning her clylindrical wicker stools on their side and pretending to 'fly' them like the hover bikes from Fireball XL5, completely knackered them
