  1. He has been really impressive of late. He has had a few wobbles this season but that is to be expected, the championship is a tough division and players need time to adjust. He looks like he is finally finding his feet now and is looking a really good signing. I have said it before on here multiple times but once our FFP situation is fully under control (after the big incoming fee for Scott in the summer) then i am really excited to see what Pearson can do with some more money to spend.
  2. Traditionally there is always a team that puts a late run together. Why can’t it be us this season?..
  3. Looked decent when he came on, showed glimpses of quality. Cornick also had a solid debut aswell IMO. Made himself a nuisance but he will be kicking himself with that one on one though, should have scored that to be honest.
  4. Not a chance Lampard gets anywhere near the Leeds job after his horror show at Everton.
  5. Precisely this. As you said there is a small minority on here that would rather be proven ‘right’ about a manager or player even if it is at the expense of the club winning football matches. Without a doubt there is a small % that are pissed off right now that Pearson seems to have turnt us around and we are winning games again. We have seen it time and time over the years, it was the same with Johnson jnr and snr Cotts etc etc. It’s mental really and quite sad.
  6. Indeed. Hopefully he can work his way back into contention and get some game time towards the end of this season. Your hoping then with a full pre-season under his belt we can see his full potential next season. I must admit he was the summer signing i was most excited about when he came in but it unfortunately just hasn’t worked out for him here thus far.
  7. Can’t knock the attitude that Wells has shown over the past 12 months or so. I like many others had written him off and had him down to follow the likes of Kasey Palmer out the door but credit to him he has really knuckled down and has become a vital member of the squad.
  8. I Would still happily take top 10 at this point…
  9. Fair play a great 3 points that. Im certainly looking up the table rather than down it now!
  10. It is a bit strange but it’s a welcome change from having to listen to that jumped up bellend Ashton spinning us yarns at every opportunity. IMO a good CEO needs to do his work in the background and let the performance of the club on and off the pitch do the talking. We certainly had that in Gould and i think Alexander will be of the same ilk.
  11. We genuinely just need a commanding centre half and a ball playing central midfielder with a bit of presence and we won’t be too far away next season IMO.
  12. Great signing and ambition from the club - fair play.
  13. Will this make general sale I wonder..
  14. Hell of a stadium - still baffles me they ever finished the place. I am a spark and i worked on it for 18 months and its hands down the worst large scale electrical install i have ever seen, some shocking workmanship in that building ?
  15. What time is the draw then FFS - this one show is absolute bollox.
  16. I wouldn’t say us getting in £25m as a negative - would be some much needed dough to plough back into the squad. Hopefully he doesn’t go this window mind you.
