  1. Would be interesting to know if Scudamore is on the payroll at the club. For Alexander to say he is ‘heavily’ involved would suggest so. My understanding was that Scudamore was an unofficial consultant so to speak, this interview would more a less confirm that.
  2. Looking forward to Argyle coming up to the championship to be honest, always lively both on and off the pitch against them over the years ?
  3. Correct. Say what you about Warnock but his record at this level speaks for itself. A proven winner.
  4. Agreed. Really interesting to see what Pearson can do with say 5 or 6 million if like you said Scott goes for the big money as most of us expect him to in the summer.
  5. In fairness there are some really big clubs in League one, many with fairlyish recent Premier league experience. Bristol Rovers with their dire recent history and home gates of 7-8 k don’t even come close to them. They are as delusional as they come. A that is in reality fit for League 2 at best.
  6. Hahah class. I would of loved him to of managed us.
  7. Indeed. It’s about time we had a genuine world class striker other than Harry Kane.
  8. Still early days for me on Cornick but I’ll be honest I haven’t been overly impressed with what I’ve seen from him so far.
  9. Win against Sunderland on the weekend and I’m sure the play-off talk will re emerge.. Never say never of course but i would be absolutely shocked if we could win 10 or 11 out of the next 16 which is probably what would be needed to finish top 6. It would have to be a monumental effort.
  10. Take a point. In reality we are still way off the pace in regards to the play-offs IMO. I still stand by what i said a few days ago that a top 12 finish would be a decent season given our circumstances.
  11. Agreed. There is nothing to say that Scott does step up to the Premier League to a lower or upper mid table club and has the same sort of trajectory that Bobby Reid has had. Bobby has done really well in the Prem but he isn’t a world beater at that level, a very solid performer but in reality is still a way off ever playing for a top 4 side. Scott could follow the same sort of path IMO.
  12. Interesting. I think Scott is a fabulous player but IMO it is still to early to say he will go ‘further’ than Tammy. Whilst what we are seeing from Scott in the championship is unbelievable for a 19 year old, the step up to the Prem is huge. I have no doubt that Scott will become a very decent player at the top level but will he kick on and make numerous caps for England and go abroad to a top league and hold his own like Tammy has? It’s a hard one to predict to be honest.
  13. I don’t think anyone can deny Pickford is world class for England though..
  14. Certainly seems to be a bit of desperation down at the bottom now doesn’t there, for Blackpool to go for a pretty washed up McCarthy and now Huddersfield taking an ageing Warnock out of retirement.. I am just so glad that we have pulled ourselves away from it all as i would have hated to see us sack Pearson and go for one these type of appointments..
  15. Indeed. It wouldn’t be BCFC without SOMETHING to moan about ay! For what it’s worth i think the stewards at Ashton Gate are no better or worse than at any other stadium or concert venue in this country from my experience. At the end of the day these stewards will be on probably no more than £9 or £10 quid an hour and in some cases have to deal with situations the vast majority of us wouldn’t want to get involved in even if we were paid double that..
  16. Was an odd appointment in the first place IMO.
  17. All this highlights is the hugely inflated prices now being paid for bog standard players in the Premie League. Norwich are no different to many other championship clubs that have fallen out of the Prem and have flopped or haven’t bounced back straight away. Stoke being a pretty good example of that in recent years. Norwich fans have clearly gotten used to relegation and the almost guaranteed walk in the park the next season in the championship but it hasn’t obviously worked for them this season. Naive of them to think it’s just some sort of given that they will walk this division each time they are relegated, it’s a tough league and not all players are up to it irrespective of how much they cost.
  18. And unfortunately that will mean very little to Semenyo his family and his agent when i would imagine he is taking home probably triple what he was here a week. It is mental though seeing Bournemouth in the Prem with that tiny stadium. It reminds me of Yeovil’s Huish Park. The stand behind one of the goals is some sort of semi permanent structure aswell by the looks of it.. tinpot as ****.
