Some one has mentioned him in this thread, and some one said that lansdown would not trust him!!!!

As in another Tony Dinning presumably.

And just look at his record, he must have stopped making an effort after the first few games everywhere he went. It wasn't just us he let down.

No inside information but just read this on BBC, another name in the (big) hat?!?!

"Motherwell have rejected "significant" bids for defender Shaun Hutchinson and midfielder Nicky Law.

The Fir Park club say an English Championship club made an offer for Hutchinson, while a League One side have targeted Law."

Hutchinson is a 21 year old 6'2 right footed centreback, offer is around £250k according to reports.

Excellent post..

And while Del did say he wanted to get his business done early, to get the key targets he has had to wait that little longer..

I believe as well, that Dels focus remains on his 'favoured' players but as you rightly say there will be numerous back up plans should he fail in attracting the main ones.

i hope everyone is right and this lack of key signings in all part of Del's masterplan. For me as the days pass by I am more concerned and fear for our defence in it's present form at Forest.

Yes he did say that!!! But considering he aint got one yet!! Looked on the Motherwell forum £250,000 was offered they reckon!!

Yes Monkeh, I know that!!! CB tho considering this was and still is the most important position to get in!!!!

championship hasn't started,

We've signed a 19yo cb from celtic on a free called curtis jones just not been announced yet,

there are 3 games until the transfer window shuts so there is still time to get this centre back without being to far behind,

If we have no other players in by Cardiff next weekend then its time to over react until then just wait

And I'm also just told that talks between Stephen McManus have resumed. Back to square 1 though #BCFC

Whether this guy is to be believed or not i would hope we will go back for him if other options have been exhasted. Boro' wont want him on their books once the window closes and it's possible we strike a years loan deal with an option so both clubs can contribute to his wages.

I know Del was quoted as saying he was after a right footer but it didnt seem to bother him when picking Tangs over James Wilson last night. McManus's other qualitys are far more needed than the drawback of him being left footed in my opinion.
