Philly The Kid
What would be rather fun would be a long drawn out, expensive legal dispute meaning the club can't really plan for anything, and then... THEY LOSE!!!
HoldenBall
They beat wycombe anyway, unless wycombe used him in their finally game? Wycombe sold the bloke 4 years ago
Major Isewater
That would be typical of the jammy bastards .It's gonna happen is n't it ?
One BCFC
Surely it will just lead into a points deduction for next season or a club fine

HoldenBall
has there been a precedence for a similar case?? Have a team ever been docked points AFTER the season has finished? I don't think so
Guest
Can see it being a West Ham/Sheffield United situation here But that was the same season. This was four sodding years ago.

HoldenBall
I'm sure Wycombe would also have a say in the way their hooligans poured into their pitch in numbers breaking barriers and advertisement hoardings..

Given they've accepted the punishment as well, I don't see any sort of situation where Rovers have a case.

Wycombe screwed up four years ago and paid the fine. A bit like being caught for speeding in 2010 and now getting accused by someone else of having a dodgy brake light on a car you've now sold. Unbelievable non-story

Bedminster Born And Red
Can anyone explain how Wycombe paying an agent illegally for a player being transferred from Blackpool to QPR and who hasn't played for them for four years gave them a "competitive advantage" in last seasons relegation battle?
