Fordy62
Wow. Seems I peaked at trolling too early. Ridiculous club.
Bedminster Born And Red
Desperately trying to shaft someone else to save their own skins. I could almost understand it if they had lost to Wycombe. Dirty Gas. The crux of their argument seems to be that Wycombe "might" have players who played for them last season on illegal agent payment terms. So presumably they want the FA to look at every deal Wycombe have done with the agents of their current squad? The Matt Phillips deal is a total red herring in terms of "competitive advantage" that has already been investigated and dealt with and the common sense part of me says that if the Wycombe Trust, who now administer the club, reported it to the FA as soon as they became aware of the situation then it is very unlikely that similar deals for their current squad will be in place. HoldenBall
They are trending in the uk on twitter.. Now everyone else sees what we see day in day out, they are a horrible little club
BigTone
This is brilliant. Even the lawyers are probably like 'well ok if you insist we'll take you money, but c'mon...' I think maybe they are all City fans taking the urine
BS34Red
Got to respect Wycombes honesty in this. I'm glad we have honest clubs in the football league.

City1970
What would be rather fun would be a long drawn out, expensive legal dispute meaning the club can't really plan for anything, and then... THEY LOSE!!! And have points deduction for losing an appeal. It could be a great summer.
GodEmperor Palpatine
I'm sure Wycombe would also have a say in the way their hooligans poured into their pitch in numbers breaking barriers and advertisement hoardings.. That's a good point, just wonder if the Sags will get massive penalties after the fans played up 2 weeks in a row?!
slartibartfast
The bloke on Points West had a job not pissing himself when relaying this non-story. The gappers are like a man being led to the gallows screaming, begging for mercy and soiling himself......no class or dignity !
HoldenBall
That's a good point, just wonder if the Sags will get massive penalties after the fans played up 2 weeks in a row?! There was rumblings of a points deduction/heavy fine but I think relegation is enough for punishment
Monkeh
I think the FA need to make a statement and then fine rovers for wasting their time and relegated them again

steve39
if the worst was to happen could the league not promote the losing playoff team from the premier conference into div2 and leave the sags where they belong,
steviestevieneville
You can just see other fans looking at this and thinking, take your medicine you pathetic little club. It's not new is it underhanded dealings by them. They been doing stuff like this for decades.
Always Believesham
Since then, they went 2-1 up away at Wycombe and subsequently lost 3-1 That's now the 2nd on the list of "Reasonz wot makes me lyk wycombe"
bcfctim
That is truly pathetic. As if it wasn't embarrassing enough already to be a gashead. I'd be seriously worried if I was them, it seems rather than accepting relegation and preparing for non-league their board are still in denial and desperately clutching at straws. It doesn't bode well for them next season.
Dave
Is there a precedent, with QPR a few years ago, with a fine being the appropriate punishment, in these complicated third party scenarios?

Manon
Unbelievable. It's one thing privately exploring avenues, even spurious ones, but to shamelessly announce it on the official website in a cringe statement...only rovers could do that. Mahatma Coate
No way, points deduction starting next season will be nice. Doing a Boston would be better, start in Conference a South for being a nasty little club. They still have the Conference AGM cup to play for. Any idea when the AGM is?
