Jeez, not looking too great for general sale...

I'd say it's looking absolutely brilliant for general sale, although personally I am a member. With members only able to buy 2 per, I would imagine this next stage of sales will only account for 5-6k tickets maximum. The fact that 1,900 tickets made it to general sale for the West Ham game, after nearly every STH bought a ticket, tells you a lot about the size of our membership.

In other words, there will be loads on general sale.

For the benefit of members like myself currently trying to weigh up their options, could someone please post the very latest red/amber/green availability map?

Hi mate when I went on the website and looked at the red/amber/green it isnt that clear. It certainly isnt as clear as our own AG ticket purchase system. I got so p*****d off I rang Ticketmaster in the end and booked over the phone.I asked if I could have 4 together in the lower or middle tier and he said there werent 4 together anywhere, I plumped for 502 Row 15. Amazing, depending on how many you need I would try ringing at 8AM instead of the website. Best of Luck

out of three memberships only one of us has got a reference number sent via email to order tickets, so tomorrow im goingto have to try and get hold of them to sort it ou amongst all the chaos, ******* brilliant and typical of how my life goes on lately.......

Phone ticketmaster, give them everyone's full details, they will check this with the club and call you back to sell you the tickets. They were certainly doing this last week when season ticket holders had problems :)

Not meaning to sound picky but, ST holders are allowed to buy up to 4 tickets each for the JPT game, it was only one each for the WHU game. So with approaching nine thousand ST holders, it's possible (but not likely) that 36k could be sold out by the time general sale comes into effect.

I personally think there'll be about 27/8k city fans, it's not such a big day out to many people now, though it would be nice to sell out.

I think you've misunderstood my point. Of course I realise it was only one per STH for the West Ham game. The point is, after 90% of STH bought their West Ham ticket, members had second priority, but 1,900 tickets made it to general sale. This suggests that only around 2,000 members bought for that game - and that the total number of members is not that big.

If we've sold around 21k so far, I would only expect members to add another 5-6k to that total - so there will be loads available for general sale.

Also the vast majority of STH will have already bought and I'm not sure if they are still able to buy during the members sale period.

Not quite sure why you got that impression, as a member I always knew I was virtually guaranteed a ticket and I'm not that bothered about being on the top tier. I've also been very positive about bringing non-regulars to this game with a view to increasing our fan base. So not remotely panicking.

I did understand your post, I was just highlighting that the demand for tickets for Wembley is higher than that for the WHU match which was being televised live on a Sunday afternoon. That demand was such that we only managed to shift another six hundred more than our usual recent turn out. So it might be expected that ST holders will purchase most of any tickets sold any way. As you rightly say, there will be loads available for general sale.

How embarrassing would it be if Walsall outsold us?

Not going to happen. Bristol city have now sold just over 21k to ST holders.

Walsall have sold 21.5k, but allowed each ST holder to get 6 tickets. That 21.5k also includes the priority period for anyone who has a booking history with Walsall.

Edit: The way it is structured, the only tickets Walsall will sell during general sale will be to people who haven't been to Walsall matches before and don't know anyone who has. I may be proved wrong, but I would guess that number isn't going to be very high!

Considering we've already sold more than their entire allocation.. I'd say it's unlikely.

Think they've sold out their early allocation, we're about the same at the moment.

I'm sure they had about 4 or 5 thousand when we played them this year and last, where the hell have 21,000 come from?!

They were initially given an allocation of approx 20k corresponding to the lower and middle tier, however, as this sold out they have been given additional tickets in the upper tier. At present they have sold over 21,500 tickets, which is more than us.

Need to remember this is their first visit to Wembley...ever. They are doing really well, but does not surprise me there is a greater level of excitement their end. We will still outsell them.
