Can anyone work out what the 'Boro one means? :dunno:

It's a news article. That's more or less the headline of it. Basically, Boro brought in Ramirez and they're sending Fabbrini back to Watford(sold to Birmingham) and could maybe open the funds to but McCormack which could make it tough for us to buy Smith unless Kike goes on loan to Fulham for the rest of the season.

More of what we already knew from our standpoint. Fulham under embargo and 3 of their strikers attracting interest. Most likely us not getting Smith.

I think it's Matt Smith related...............Somehow

Weren't 'Boro after McCormack? Maybe their signing of Ramirez means they won't go for him meaning Smiffy can head West or is that too tenuous?

EDIT: I see what JA08 has posted now which makes perfect sense. It looks like I was miles out! Ah well.

I read the story, getting Ramirez on loan allowed them to sell fabrini and release further wages and funds to buy mcCormack. In buying McCormack, Fulham are less likely to sell smith to us.

Go back for Lafferty?

Bristol City looking to splash the cash on Bradley Dack despite having no manager

  • Bristol City have bid £1.5m for the Gillingham midfielder
  • Steve Cotterill originally wanted to sign Dack, but has since resigned

I must have missed Cotts' 'resignation...'

More lazy journalism...

Hopefully Dack's head will be turned and Gillingham will have to sell him.

Or we actually offer them a decent fee.. £2m will give them a decision to make.
