Silvio Dante
What a thoroughly depressing list. First to say "job for cotts" feels my rage... Longshot - Beckham 66-1.

Coppello
The odds look even more depressing than today's game: Gareth Southgate 2/1 Alan Pardew 8/1 Eddie Howe 10/1 Gary Neville 12/1 Harry Redknapp 16/1 I honestly think I'd rather have Steve Cotterill than any of those! Lrrr
Pelligrini or Hiddink for me, stuff needing an English manager, you just need the right manager.
Lrrr
Howe would be the only one of those I'd want, but don't think he will be keen to leave Bournemouth anytime soon.
Dastardly and Muttley
If there's any chance of Pochettino, I'd take him. Doubt it though, so Eddie Howe, Guus Hiddink or Pellegrini.

Sniper
We've won **** all since 66. We've had many give it a go but we just can't find that winning formula. Nothing to lose, so I'd give Big Sam ago.

Vincent Vega
Maybe just maybe the problem is the faceless blameless ***** who have employed the managers and have not had a genuine long term plan ala Spain & Germany...but hey what do I know I'm just a bloke who posts on a football forum
lenred
Would love a top top manager like a Jose or a Pochetino but it's not going to happen, so out of that list and being realistic I would go for Allardyce. At least he has never been shy about wanting it. Players seem to like him. He shows 'passion'. And his teams are built on a defensively strong platform and follow a pattern of play which is what we need at the moment. But it is a sorry sorry list and the future doesn't look bright at this particular moment!

Calculus
Apparently the FA have already made an approach for the World's top manager, Darrell Clarke. Unhappily it seems that the compensation would be too much so they may well have to move down to their second choices of Pep Guadiola and Jose Mourinho. JustinCider
Is it too much to ask for a manager that can pick a system that best suits the mediocrity of English players? After all, Greece managed it, and Wales, and Eire, and N. Ireland....oh, and Iceland.

Agreed, the only English manager of that list who appeals is Eddie Howe, although Slaven Bilic would be my first choice and a realistic target. And he has already stopped us qualifying for a tournament, so may not feel compelled to dump on us twice!
