Nah, not the same group of shithouse talentless footballers, only four of the starting eleven today started vs Stoke in the cup last season...there were seven new shithouse talentless footballers today...

Nice to see the scouting network is working well, finding yet more talentless shithouse footballers to beat them again.....

"Bristol City were a load of talentless shithouse footballers"

According to a thread title on their forum ?

First half was dire, not sure how we went in one up with 30% possession and a penalty save too.  Second half a bit better, particularly when they started to chase the game and leave more space for us further up the field.

Maenpaa probably won the game for us and it was nice to see COD bag an important goal for us after pestering Stoke all afternoon. Good for Fam to get one too and for Bailey Wright to just slot back in as if he had never been away.

Would have been happy with a point, but 3 is a great bonus.

Sags still in a joint relegation position with signs perhaps that their honeymoon period is coming to an end.

I love the post in this thread that says:

Setting up with a back 10, but by no means impenetrable, and a bloke up front that didn’t look like a professional footballer and they’ve beaten us 2-0.

Sour grapes..

Sounds like he is describing the reverse game at Ashton Gate

Ten days now till we play Bolton. Time to rest a few tired legs for the cup or do we fancy a run in it?

Stuff the Cup. It ain't wot it used to be, and we haven't got the strength in depth to fire on two fronts.

Let's concentrate on getting into the Prem.

Some great posts on here tonight people and rightly so as this division is relentless. Still along way to go and let's all hope the board back what ever is needed to give a big push and show how ambitious we really are although I think we are more likely to see this in the summer than now... Onwards and upwards you reds.

What wonderful timing - not edited, but written contemporaneously as well.

Louis Carey?

Top shout DT - ignore @Robbored‘s pathetic yet predictable ‘laughing emoji’ reaction to your post...he obviously thinks it’s laughable to suggest someone who played well over 600 games for our club can be thought of as a better City centre-back than one who has made less than 30 appearances for us....more ill-informed tripe from the forum clown....Louis Carey was fantastic for us and is one of our all-time greats.....surely that’s indisputable....

No one running away with it this season, makes it very competitive. Great result for us.

I was watching the Forest game on the Tele, while I had the Jeff Selling prog running on the phone, and regularly dipping into OTIB. Great afternoon's entertainment.

Who said men can't multi task! ?

I had the following set-up:

  • BBCRB on TV Freeview 719
  • Mac with OTIB and various BBC Sport tabs open
  • Ipad with Sky Sports New on (muted) to catch goals
  • iphone for twitter and texts from my dad

Jeez.......so Carey played over 600 times for City and in your opinion is an all time great?......ffs........:rofl2br:

Carey was a steady and reliable defender but that’s it. Webster is a far better footballer than LC ever was.

Gerry Gow and John Atyeo were an all time greats.

It`s a classic case for him of guilty by association - you have to remember who the manager was that picked LC for a good proportion of those games.
