5 times in 5 years. Come on James

I was being generous.

I think they claimed one last season, and they've also had 2 promotions in that time.

If they haven't managed 5 home sell outs in that time then they're even more of an embarrassment than previously thought.

I always like to point out that even as a club formed in 1982 we are still bigger and achieved more with only 36 years as a club. That silences them as well.

Just ask them what they have achieved in 3 years since becoming a league club.

Just seen a tweet of Wael out in Russia in an England shirt. All the usual gas replies of you're a legend. Truly embarrassing.

Not as embarrassing as wearing another countries shirt when your from camel country.

They nearly all expect Rovers to finish mid table.

Presumably that means they are not coming for us; these things take time.

Eh?! What about the drunken fool in the video saying they’d overtake us straightaway as they are now “the 6th richest club in England”?! He also waxed lyrical about them taking us over and using Ashton Gate for their youth team games....what happened?  They were gonna overtake us on the way to the premier league with a new stadium and we’d be left in their wake....so now their fans’ ambitions amount to a mid table finish in the third division....as I said before, what happened?!

All fans are eternal optimists in pre-season. If mid-table is expected by the majority then a relegation scrap is the most likely outcome.

He wishes he was an English Billionaire with the money to own a decent football club, and the funds to build that club a state of the art stadium.

Fixed that for you Rudolf!

Do we know anyone that matches that description? Maybe even someone from the local area?

Utterly hilarious, pure delusion

"What you have overlooked is the capacity seems to be limiting the potential gates, as if we were playing in a stadium with a 18/22,000 capacity our average home gates would probably be pushing 15,000 at the start of this season. For a club of our size/potential we have clearly outgrown the Mem to suggest otherwise is simply nonsense and contradicts what the previous and present owners have suggested."

So by using Gas logic basically doubling up what your attendences are we would be getting we could be getting 40000 odd!

Even in fantasy land mind the ******* gap!

You're missing the 'uncounted' thousands hgc. Remember it's common knowledge that their supporters pass their season books through the gates to their mates who don't pay to get in although the season book only counts for 1. No doubt there are at least 25,000 at every gas home game :innocent06:. Now they're moving to a card system, they will all have to pay so, I would imagine, their crowds will drop as they 'ain't paying to watch that shite'!

"Gaslogic" how a human(ish) mind copes with being second rate in every way to larger local rivals. It's most common effect is a total inability to cope with reality, and a genuine urge to make things up to add to the fantasy of being in some way superior to the larger local rivals.

However with the lovely Wally in charge, the gaslogic will soon be transferred to Bristol Manor Farm. Once they sell chernobyl and the training ground off for housing anyway.

They stole miscellaneous items worth about £100 overall, including a shovel, a megaphone, a crucifix necklace and drill bits.

They must be the contractors for the long awaited Memorial Ground improvements. Not sure about the crucifix though?

I'm working on the assumption that Wael is a vampire, as he seems to suck the club dry of cash

The farmy army are way too sane to use gaslogic...

Looks like they are at it again. Any of our WSM readers heard anything?

Thug punches police horse and assaults officer after England's World Cup loss

Haha. Read that and was about to post, but you beat me to it.  I suspect that the culprit would have been wearing blue and white quarters and let off a six fingered punch.
