If Barton doesn't moan about the ref post match then I'm the Pope.

He'll forget he let their player stay on with a yellow for a bad tackle that had the lad going off on oxygen and straight to the hospital.

They played like a side from the  league below. Gonna be a long season, they look 5 or 6 players short of the standard.

It was Nathan Thompson who got stretchered off, so we could give them a tiny bit of leeway!

That's almost a #gaslogic full house right there.

Fast forward to 2030, and this deluded idiot will be claiming they took 400,000 to Wembley. with 100,000 of the Fewers locked outside.

The further into the future we go, the bigger their exaggerations and lies.

My advice to this fool, after this latest embarrssing defeat, is to lie low.

Just like his team in the table.

You missed an extra 0 it was 4,000,000. Rovers could've filled Wembley 44 times over but everyone was locked out because it's all city's fault.

And just denied a clear one for themselves. Pompey's was debatable. Great stuff.

I maybe wrong here, but the Rovers player looked like he actually put his foot behind the Pompey defender on the replay I seen which then made him fall. At first viewing it looked a stonewall (and will be if I have got it wrong), but that is what it looked like to me. Unsure how Pompey got one as the camera was too slow to see it full view.

As for them moaning about the ref, it was Gavin Ward - he's just awful anyway. Whelan could have gone for his leg breaker, and they could easily have been 3/4 down before equalising with their first shot on target from a bad mistake - but conveniently forget all of that.
