This is a very good point. Pearson knows the problems with the City team as he’s said, on numerous occasions, that he’d like to sign a defensive midfielder and a central defender. He can’t because of financial constraints so he got  3 pre season signings on the cheap. City are over achieving. The last time that happened was Gary Johnson’s first season in the Championship which ended in a Wembley final defeat. I believe, if we can hold on to all the players in January, and possibly sign one or two, we can go one better this season

It sounds like heresy but we don’t look as dynamic with Semenyo on, and haven’t really done so since he came back from injury. That said he can score a goal from nothing at times.
