Middlesborough at home match thread

Well done Cornick for battling through with that one, and Sam Bell does what he does, he knows how to finish. He suits that left channel well. They are causing issues down our right, and any ball into the box is tough when we are missing a ball-winning CB. But an enjoyable game. Boro will throw the kitchen sink now, so maybe a chance of a counter goal.

Is that a memo to Nige mate?!

Fair play city 3 or 4 players out and put on a first half like that , really good game to watch & fair play to boro aswell playing proper football ( as you would expect with carrick  in charge ) Ryan giles quality down their left ,

would love to see Scott in this match his type of game

Very good first half, made of fluid play, clever pressing and solid defending. We created more chances, being dangerous especially on the flanks, while defence coped well with their passing and physical threat, with only two real lapses of concentration (one for Max + one free header by one of their strikers).

Impressive City so far and Cornick is showing his qualities. That being said, for the 2nd half I fear the tiredness of midfield could be a key factor, not having good options except a not fully fit Naismith
